“I attended the Mad Batter Tea Room for a baby shower and I was very impressed with the adorable Alice in Wonderland decor, the staff, and the food. Everything is baked and made in house and was extremely flavorful. They served everyone their own personalized two tiered platter of finger sandwiches and treats. In addition, there was the most delectable scones. I plan on returning for a fun tea time with friends.“

Delicious food, get the maple bacon avo toast, and best cappuccino I've had in years and years- perfect ratio of milk and coffee, and great amount of foam!also try the tumeric chai, out of this world. Would be an awesome place to cowork out of, great wifi. I can't wait to come back here next time we're in the area for business, and would even bring our customers here for meetings. 11/10 service, 12/10 food, would give more stars if I could.Vegetarian options: Just about anything on the menu can be veggie, or vegan, or gluten free. Loads of options, I was spoiled for choice!Wheelchair accessibility: All 1st floor, all roll up tables, great accessibility.“

The staff are always so friendly, their coffee is one of the best in the area, and I love their food options. You need to try their cinnamon cardamom knot and the breakfast burrito...delicious!“

“Visit Date: February 28, 2024 I took myself on a little adventure out East which I do sometimes and it ended with a visit to Kings Coast Coffee. The decor was great, it presented a chill, relaxing yet slightly upscale vibe to chill out with a cup of coffee. They had a great merchandise display of coffee beans, kings coast paraphernalia, and alternative non alcoholic cocktail options. I asked for a thin mint latte, hot. I paid, and got in my car and drove off to drink the latte. The flavor the latte was great, it had enough mint without overpowering the mint flavor and it was also sweet, but not overly sweet. Almost perfect. I'm glad I came here and it's a coffee shop you should check out!“

“CASH ONLY. This place was recommended to us a while back but on our first venture it was closed! Whoopsie closed on Sundays. Today we learned cash only. It is also a walk up window only. Customer service A+ let us run to an ATM and still put order in. You wait in your car and your items are hand delivered to your window. We tried some stuffed biscuits and they are as fabulous as claimed. And two double cappuccinos with mocha sauce, also delectable. Bonus they offer a punch card, after so many visits a free beverage! With their great service and friendly faces we will definitely visit again... perhaps even sit outside when it is a bit warmer!“
“Excellent selection and quality. Pricing is fair for premium coffee as well. The staff are also very attentive and more than willing to answer any questions while also adhering to Covid standards. To put it simply, a hidden gem in Old Stony Brook.“

“Went to have breakfast with my sister and our two little ones. The service is still great, from the moment we walk in to the moment we walk out the door. Our server was sweet and attentive. There is nothing worse than one with an attitude, so I appreciate it very much.Even though there can be a wait to sit and eat, it is worth the wait. Unless you go during the week, it isn't that bad of a wait or no wait at all, I've sat at the bar as well. Each time I've gone, I've gotten a very nice server, so that makes me happy! Most importantly, the food is amazing!!!! Hands down one of the best breakfast spots around.“

“Had a great lunch here with a coworker. Views were great and the food was very good. The Thai chili wings and the cob salad, I can attest, are spot on. The only thing keeping this place from five stars with me is the dining room is a bit cramped. Nevertheless, I'll be back with the wife. She'll enjoy it too I'm sure.“

“Intrigued by the signs in the windows exclaiming the benefits of kava, my friend and I strolled into the wonderful world of this non alcoholic bar. Being virgins to this root, we asked for guidance on what to order. This kava is supposed to have the relaxing, mellowing effects of say, Marijuana or even alcohol, but without the detriments that come with those. The young lady suggested a cold kava drink in a coconut cold mug with a slice of pineapple. There's a single, double or triple. She said it's suggested to start high and get the product built up in your system, then go down to single whilst in maintenence mode. We went with the double. We watched her spoon a large spoonful of what looked like, as another patron said, dirty water into our coconut cups! And garnished this dirty water with a pineapple. Bon Appétit! Well I have to say upon the first sip, I was waiting to be repulsed, but it actually didn't have much of a taste. As I got closer to the bottom of the cup, however, I got more flavor.. it was definitely a muddy, earthy flavor. I loved it I have to say. My friend was not a fan. Ha! I guess it's an acquired taste. The atmosphere was very chill. Seems an eclectic crowd. Young, old, parents, singles, white and.. well (us two) black! It was a cool decor. They have board games you can play. Seems a great place to chill alone with a book or laptop. It was dog friendly as well. I think if i lived here, I'd probably be a regular very quickly. Kudos!“

They also have bubble waffles that you can customize how you like! Nice addition to the neighborhood.“

“Got some nice unique food options. Nice staff but it does get packed. You can't call ahead to make reservations, you can only do that once you show up. Had a 20min wait for a table so we looked at some of the surrounding shops. We actually got called in 10min.“

“I don’t go to this Starbucks that often but the last two days I have been to it, and one of the staff named Jay C was so nice. I get Grande Pike coffee for past 12 years and Jay C asked if I would like to try the Nitro brew. It was interesting flavor. I still like basic coffee lol, but appreciated his enthusiasm, customer service, and convincing me to try something different.“
“Super convenient right off Main Street in Setauket. I was on my way down to Port Jefferson and I had a hankering for ice coffee. I wasn't able to stop anywhere else so I picked up a large iced coffee and a buttered roll, $6.50. It was absolutely perfect. Wouldn't hesitate to stop there again.“

“Cosy little place with the Italian vibe you'd expect from a charming Long Island Italian place. It's half traditional slices and half sit down Italian restaurant. The sit down food is great and the pizza is higher level. Not your average corner store. They have a wine selection worthy of this level of Italian cuisine.I always judge Italian restaurants by their eggplant dishes. This one passes the test.Servers are quick and courteous. They always have more people on staff then needed so there's never a wait. At least every time I've been there.I used to go when I grew up a few towns over and it doesn't seem to have changed.Their Sicilian is my go to when it comes to slices. I like their marinara sauce for dipping as well.Vegetarian options: Pizza and eggplant dishes.Parking: Always more then enough. The parking lot is huge.Kid-friendliness: Not kid oriented but definitely kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: It's ground level.“

“Slightly overpriced and closes to early. The outside eating area is a nice touch in the spring and summer. However Patchogue is a very busy village with lots of people. “We go often. Nice place. The different selections of coffee I have had, I like. They some more small food selections. More than a muffin.Today, we had the Avocado Arepa "Toast". See the photo. To me, the taste of the Arepa is similar to a gordita. I could have it often for breakfast.“
“The owner’s knowledge and passion for her work really shines through at every visit. It also seems like every customer that walks in is a friend to her and she always remembers details about your life. The tea is inexpensive but delicious, the mango passionfruit is my favorite!“

“The vibe is great. The service was friendly. I ordered the BLT Avocado Eggs Benedict with arugula on a slice of ciabatta toast with breakfast potatoes. My significant other had the house omelet (she orders fries with her eggs - piping hot good). We also had the delicious salted caramel coffee. The food was excellent - hot and flavorful. The hollandaise sauce along with the avocado did cool my eggs a little but I enjoyed it. I've also been there and had just the eggs and bacon with toast - good solid dish. The prices are good for the location, cleanliness and decor of this newly updated establishment and most importantly the value-for-money is good.“

“This Tim Hortons is in a gas station. This is the first time there and we ordered a ham and swiss on cibata, and a turkey bacon Cesar on toasted cibata. Was really surprised on the size of the sandwiches and the prices. Good size and great price. The only thing was we were asked if we wanted a combo meal or just the sandwich. When we said combo we were told there isn't a combo. We sat there scratching our head as the three workers discussed if they had combo meals. Will definitely go back for the sandwich so much better than Dunkin!!“

“Really nice coffee shop that has a lot to offer. My girlfriend really enjoyed her iced coffee. I grabbed a breakfast sandwich what was pretty good. The sausage and egg had lots of flavor. It was a bit dried out and burnt from sitting in the heater but over decent. The service was really good and all the staff were friendly.Side note, the bathroom was fantastic. Super clean and smelled amazing. Imagine that. A coffee shop bathroom that actually smells good. I was happy with that.Parking: Some spots on the street.“

“I have been to several Starbucks locations, and to be honest, this is the best one if you exclude the Starbucks at Target. Overall, the baristas mostly get my order right. “The First Starbucks out of over 300 that I have been to. The Port Jefferson Village Starbucks holds a place in my heart. The reason is that when I visited it in the late 1990s or very early 2000s, it was the very first Starbucks that I had ever been to. This was before Starbucksmania. When my friend Andrew and I stepped inside this Starbucks, I was unaware that it was a major coffee chain. It was this past summer, that I returned to the Port Jefferson Starbucks after twenty years. How many Starbucks can I say that about. My family and I hung out here during the later moments of our time in Port Jefferson. If Port Jefferson was without a Starbucks, I doubt that they would build this one in 2023. Back in the late 1990s and 2000s, Starbucks executives had imagination. Their imaginative thoughts created Starbucks outlets that were unique, cozy, and the third place that created a unique Starbucks experience. This location is the antithesis of a Starbucks corporate culture that is striving to be a drive-thru brand that is slamming the hammer on unique locations centered around an environment that encourages hanging out. At the Port Jefferson Starbucks, in place of a drive thru, is a New England style streetscape. Walking along Main Street is the main access to the New England style building that looks nearly identical to when George Washington stepped foot on Long Islands North Shore. It plays a roll in the Port Jefferson experience where people like myself browse at the storefronts, engage in the Port Jefferson Harbor scenery, and take life at a leisure pace. Inside, I feel like I have been transported into a shop in an 1800s fishing village. The interior screams out seaside history and commerce. Regardless that this is a unique Starbucks, the drink is identical to the tall coffee with two Splendas that I have enjoyed in the Starbucks from Port Jefferson in the northeast to Fort Lauderdale in the Southeast and the original Starbucks in Seattle at the Northwest. So is the nearly $3 price. The Port Jefferson Starbucks had made such a first impression on me with the brand twenty years ago that I would go on to visit over 300 more. I hope that the Port Jefferson Starbucks is up for at least twenty more years instead of being replaced with a cookie cutter drive thru - emphasized location beyond pedestrian friendly Main Street, Port Jefferson.“

“I have nothing, but positive things to say about Blue Bean Cafe. When I used to live in the area, I would work from Blue Bean 2-3 times a week. The ambiance is clean and bright, and the staff and owners are so welcoming. Their strawberry matcha tea latte is to die for! Any time I am in the area I stop in to get it. If you're looking for a little snack, definitely get the garlic roll and make sure to have it toasted. Their bacon and egg avocado toast is also a must try! Blue Bean Cafe is a gem.“

“There are a lot of options for bagel places on LI, but I go out of my way to stop here. They care about fresh ingredients and making orders right. I have witnessed them cancel items for the day when they are not 100% happy with the ingredients that they have for it. A place that doesn't treat you like an assembly line, but rather personal interaction and care.“
“I had such a wonderful experience here!!The only reason why I came here was to try the viral Brown Butter Latte as seen on Tiktok and it did not disappoint! The young girl behind the counter (I forgot her name) was so so helpful! She rang my stuff up in addition to the coffee. She even pulled up the QR code for me on Amazon because you get a discount if you have an Amazon Prime account and mine wasn't working at the time. The atmosphere was really nice and had such a clean environment. (P.S. the Commack WFM Coffee Bar does not ever seem to be open when I go so I had to make the trip up to Lake Grove). Not sure why this is.....but glad I had such a great experience at Lake Grove location!“
“The most enjoyable and educational experience ? I had a lovely conversation with the owner.
