Restaurantji's Horseheads guide: Where to find the best Mexican flavors.
“I was so pleased with the service I received! I called on a late Thursday afternoon asking to have an office of 12 people catered for the next day at 11:30am and they didn't hesitate to say yes! When I picked up the food they helped me put it in my car and the food was amazing! I would highly recommend using Garcia's for your catering needs!“
“Excellent food and service, nice rustic, yet CLEAN place. We were a bit wary at first because the outside looked sort of run down. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the interior. We got the fish fry, which came with a very generous portion of haddock and I opted for the side of Mac and cheese, which was homemade and absolutely delicious! The two meals came with a roll and side of coleslaw as well. The haddock was fried nice and crisp, with a thin layer of breading. The bill only came to $25 and change! We will only be in town for work for the next few weeks, bit we will DEFINITELY visit this establishment again!“
“Great experience for lunch today. I had the chicken enchiladas, which were delicious. I ordered off the lunch menu and got what I would consider to be a good-sized lunch. I didn't leave feeling over stuffed. Our waitress was super nice and very attentive. If you're looking for Mexican food in the Elmira area, I strongly recommend stopping here.Parking: There are a fair number of paid street parking spots but they fill up quick during peak times.“
“The slightly spicy salsa & tortilla chips were homemade with lots of fresh cilantro. Delicious. The Chiles rellenos were outstanding. I ordered the Azteca salad with grilled chicken, shrimp, avocado and mushrooms. Also excellent. Finished things off with the flan in caramel sauce with whipped cream and cherry. Wow.I've had some amazing authentic Mexican food over the years, and Salsa's Mexican Restaurant is right up there with them. Highly recommend! ??“
