THE HIDDEN GEM FOR AUTHENTIC SOUTH AMERICAN FOOD HAS BEEN FOUND!! I feel so blessed that my friend noticed this little blk bldg modesty nestled between a 3 way intersection. We stopped in and was blown away by the flavor and taste of everything we ate. That Migadas had me DANCING on camera as i ate it. That's the highest compliment my foodie self can give you. Your food makes me dance? I'm a regular from now on. Cant wait to try everything on the menu.

Bodega Aguila Real catered my wedding and helped make it a night I will never forget. Cecile & crew were kind, compassionate, on time, and the food was out of this world! They truly took all the guess work out of catering for 50-60 people and delivered more than I could have ever asked for. I look forward to recommending this business to others in the future and to seeing it grow more and more!

Such a great family run restaurant. The food is fresh and authentic. Great tacos, sopes and the lunch is always amazing. My favorite Mexican food in the Hudson Valley.

Great Mexican food spot, they do a hot buffet daily that's always delicious and changes daily. They also can make you dishes on request too, personally I am huge fan of their steak torta! Great lunch spot, I work nearby and usually stop in at least once a week to treat myself to delicious Mexican food.

An unpretentious place with a rotating menu of various mexican food offerings. I was there on a tamale day which was satisfying, generous portions, nice side options and various possible sauces to choose from. I like that you can get the rice and beans or not, which helps allow for various price points / the ability to get a quick snack and go or stay. It definitely feels more like a NYC-style spot than an 'upstate' spot (*I say this as a born n bred NYer so bare with my ignorance), if for no other reason than the strange feeling of sitting down to eat in what otherwise amounts to a Mexican grocery store. But it's a nice low key vibe, both in activity and friendly staff. I also love the sparkly tables - worth the price of food alone to just sit there and stare into them for a bit.

I love Bodega Aquila Real! I'll check their menu on Facebook, and run if they are serving beef barbacoa, pork asado or chicken with mole sauce. I add rice and beans and I couldn't be happier. They have a wonderful staff as well!

Had the chicken mole last night. It was fantastic. It had a great peppery smoky flavor to it. Side of rice and beans and plantains. Delicious dinner! They also have all of the grocery items that you would expect to find in a bodega.

I think they have been open at least a year, but I just discovered them a couple months ago. This is truly the only truly authentic Mexican food i've found in the Hudson area. i go at least at a couple times a week. The rotating menu of prepared food is fantastic, but don't sleep on the made to order food...especially the tacos. Fresh toritillas and the only place to find delicious Al Pastor, Barbacoa, Birria...etc. Also if you enjoy cooking Mexican food, this is your spot for hard to find ingredients such as Guajillo peppers or Achiote paste. The family that runs this store is also super sweet and helpful and even taught me how to tell which Jalapeno's are hotter than others.Tip: if you are shopping for produce and don't see them on the floor, ask them if they have them. When I was shopping for a big lunch I was cooking, most of their produce wasn't on the floor but they had them in the back.
