On a Sunday afternoon during our weekend stay in Hudson we ware lucky enough to get a table here and what a treat that was!We got some appetisers and threes different mains for us to try. For a moment it felt like we are in Tuscany and not in Hudson.A definite recommend! It may be our favourite Gem!!!

I booked a reservation through Resy on March 20th for 8pm on Friday March 29th to celebrate my Easter birthday as well as my partners birthday (March 28th). I was surprised when I arrived and was told we had been reserved on the patio, with no prior mention of outdoor seating being a possibility. This being my first visit to the restaurant, I would have much preferred indoor seating on such a cool, breezy evening, or a least prior mention as to where we were being seated based on the weather this time of year. The temperature was in the upper-mid 30's and quite breezy. The warmers helped when they were functioning (the one at our table was broken and never fixed or replaced). None of the smaller warmers remained lit through our entire meal, though a large, ceiling mounted one provided heat to the half of our table lucky enough to be sitting directly below it. When the wind picked up, a small door the patio that was poorly duct taped shut kept opening, which directed a brisk gust of wind to the colder side of the table. Service was warm and welcoming, and the staff was quick to service and attentive. The food was enjoyable, though expensive at $27 for three noodles of pappardelle with a coating of shredded braised beef. Considering where we were sat, removed from ambiance of the interior, I would have preferred being told we were being sat outside on such a cold night. If this is all that was available with 9 days notice, we would have cancelled the reservation and dined at the establishment where we enjoyed cocktails before dinner. Considering the price, guests should at the very least be warm and comfortable, without relying on communal blankets and inadequate climate control.

Overall amazing restaurant. Great service, kind people, loved the rustic ambience, the food was 5⭐️, and it was shockingly quite inexpensive for quality food. We enjoyed sitting by the fire and purchased a bouquet of florals on the way out. It’s a nice touch. It’s not the easiest to find places that you instantly know you would love to come back to but this is on our list.

Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options, fewer for vegan. There are great choices of vegetables, salads, and several pasta dishes.Dietary restrictions: Our waiter was very knowledgeable about menu and ingredients in each dish. He helped us navigate through dietary restrictions (vegan) and nut allergies..

Amazing food and service. Drinks were excellent. Our waiter was best in class and they were able to accommodate dietary restrictions well.Vegetarian options: Many of the dishes can be made vegan. They specialize in fresh roasted vegetables that are superb.

We had a great dinner at Feast and Floret. The wine list was good, service was good, and of course the food was good. It was busy on a Friday night but we had reservations, so no problem.

I love this place so much. Matthew was exceptionally charming and attentive. The meal was easily one of the top 20 meals of my life. The lamb liver pate was probably in the top five culinary experiences. The velvety liver pate was topped with balsamic and crispy cool red cabbage and peppers atop a wonderful brown bread toast. I will dream about it. We sat by the fire in the lovely bar area and had a warm soft deep red wine, chocolate budino and cherry pomegranate sorbet and lingered for three hours. It was a perfect vacation in one night.Vegetarian options: All of the vegetable dishes were complex and rich. The chicory with anchovy dressing, the fennel and citrus, the Brussels Sprouts with walnuts and the beets were all fantastic.

My partner and I spent our honeymoon week in the Hudson area, scoping it out to potentially move. We are both in the industry so the food scene is critical to both of us as I'm a chef and he's FOH. We originally tried to show up Thursday at 7pm with no reservations, this place was mobbed, so we knew it had to be special, how special we wouldn't know until the next day as we decided to make a reservation for 2pm on Friday. (Moral of this part of the story is make a reservation, doesn't matter the time or the day, make the reso!! As soon as we walked in we promptly greeted by what turned out to be the owner Jason, as well as what I believe was the GM. (Sorry spaced on your name but you killed it) We were so excited to try everything, we did 3 apps and two entrees. The butternut squash Arancini were absolutely amazing, crispy on the outside, texture was on point! We had the truffle egg toast, it sounded interesting so we gave it a whirl, we may or may not have taught over the last bite of that. It had the perfect balance of truffle, cheese and a gooey egg yolk to moisten it up! The plum, celery, walnut salad, it seemed like the perfect winter version of a Waldorf salad with better flavor! I had the Bolognese, thank you for not serving marinara with ground beef, this had a perfect ragout with house made pasta! The Gnocchi, I got one bite of as my partner hovered over it like someone was gonna steal it from him, I'm that guy, I would have stole it after that bite! The highlight for me was watching the FOH work together , water, bussing, running plates , table touches. No one knew this was one of our honeymoon meals but you sure as hell made it so special for us! I even saw kitchen staff that walked out put a smile on their face, (almost unheard of lol) Dessert!! We had the olive oil cake (thank you Jason) , affogato, chocolate desserts! The portions were perfect, we left feeling good and not stuffed/bloated! Cheers to the entire staff, being in the industry I always make a point to make sure when stuff is right it is shared! We can't wait to come back!

We made reservation for lunch thru resy and visited. The restaurant is adorable and quaint. They have outdoor enclosed seating on their front porch area, and indoor dining. Decorated with flowers the interior is quaint and chic. We tried the octopus and tender rib and they were both excellent. We enjoyed lunch since we wanted to enjoy the ambiance and decor with daylight. Will definitely come back and highly recommend for brunch, lunch, and even for dates:

So glad we were able to dine at Feast and Floret while in Hudson. We attempted to get dinner on a Saturday and called that day for a reservation but it was booked (good sign!) so we went back the next day for lunch. The entire experience was amazing and did not disappoint, I truly cannot think of many dining experiences that have come close. The ambience is beautiful, the space is covered in both dried and fresh flowers (they operate a working flower stand) and everything from the decor to the seats to the fresh flowers on the table was lovely. The hostesses were both very welcoming and accommodating in assisting me purchasing a bouquet at the end of the meal (during a very busy lunch run no less). Our waiter was friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu. We opted for the burrata, meatballs, Brussels sprouts for appetizers and for the mains we went with two specials: pan seared halibut with cauliflower purée and kale, and homemade pappardelle with broccolini and chili flakes. Everything was delicious but the pasta and halibut were truly outstanding. It was honestly some of the best pasta I've ever had. The halibut was cooked perfectly, seasoned just with salt but had SO much flavor, and it paired very well with the cauliflower which had more of a zing to it. We were disappointed in the burrata because whatever vegetable came with it tasted incredibly smoky, as did the bread, so that took over the flavor, however zero complaints about this place. Can't wait to dine here again next time we're in Hudson.

The service needs work. One server came to pick up the plates and asked how the food was. We mentioned we didn't enjoy the salad (too bitter, proportions were off) -- never asked for it be taken back or off the bill -- we were happy to pay for it -- we were just answering his question. Another server came over and asked why we didn't enjoy the salad. Then a THIRD person - presumably the manager though he never introduced himself - also asked why we didn't enjoy the salad. Most of our dinner ended up turning into a repeated conversation about a salad that we just didn't happen to care for!Things dwindled from there. The server brought out a fresh plate a pasta for me with the tongs from the salad placed on top. (Weird). And then when we ordered another glass of Prosecco, the server forgot the order and we couldn't track him down to remind him.... He returned 30 minutes later... acknowledged he forgot the drink.... And moved on.... Most servers would've just brought the drink out anyway as a courtesy for forgetting the drink. We were looking forward to coming here! Great reviews - the pasta was good but we were disappointed by the service
