Absolutely amazing! I've been wanting to stop by here for some time now and regret not coming in sooner. My husband wanted to try Farm Italy but Joanina had been calling my name for a year now. He reluctantly agreed came in on a busy Saturday night no reservation. Initially told an hour wait but they were able to seat us in this look nook area within minutes and I absolutely loved this little intimate cozy spot. I love margaritas initially I wasn't going to get one and was going to stick to wine but my husband ordered one as I stepped out to get something from the car. This is now one of my fav places for a good marg! I ended up having 4 usually it's 2 max! We started with a app special burrata, artichokes and peppers and yum yum so delicious! We decided to split a pasta and meat yikes incredibly good! I mean just outstanding pork with eggplant, prosciutto and mozz over a Marsala sauce oh my just incredible! Pasta another hit too perfect amount of cream just a touch and those mushrooms yum! We ended up going back a week later and I went with their bolognese another amazing hit! I also had their creamy burrata with prosciutto just so good. My goal is to try everything on their menu! Their pizzas look amazing too so looking forward in trying them.

Came in for a baby shower and it's definitely a gem in the area. It's one of the few restaurants that I've visited in Huntington and it didn't disappoint. When you walk in, the bar is to your right and the back is where the event was held. It's intimate and the ambiance has a cute charm with the yellow walls. If this is on their regular menu, I'd suggest you try it. The "melanzane al forno" which is eggplant baked with tomato basil sauce topped with ricotta salata. I do not like eggplant and will never have ordered it but this didn't taste or feel like eggplant! It was delish! The salmon and their coffee is also a must have!

If your looking for great Italian food, Joanina is the best kept secret in all of Huntington. The decor will make you think you're eating in Tuscany, Italy ??.The extremely friendly service, ambiance and overall experience has us recommending it to our family and friends and keeps us coming back for more!Theresa, Donato, Joe the Bartender and the entire staff do an amazing job at making you feel like you're family!Bravo Joanina, Che buono!

Because of medical issues we cannot go to restaurants but on Christmas eve we wanted a nice meal, so we called Joanina who was very accommodating. Two meals we ordered were actually both great. We will certainly do business with them in the future!

I have been coming to Joanina for something like 20 years now and the reason for that is that it is simply the best…the food, the service, the ambience. It is authentic and it is excellent, and I have never had a disappointing meal there. It is especially wonderful for special occasions.Parking: The parking lot is a bit tight, but there are adjoining business lots that are easily accessible after business hours in the evening.

Beautiful restaurant with great service, everybody had a nice meal. I just wish they would use actual clams in the white clam sauce instead of cockles, definitely a good place to have a family dinner.

Food was great. I had the veal and it was really good. And being a former pizziaola I was impressed with the guy making the pie. He was a Nablidanese which are the best pizza men. He knew his craft. Will definitely come back. P.S. the Speck appetizer was Tipio Qualita!

Came here for a baby shower. I have never heard of It before because I don't goto Huntington much but It was sooo delicious! The portions were a huge size & we got to try a variety of the food. My favorite was probably the pasta pomodoro, and the antipasto. I will definitely go back!

I was last there about six years ago, and the food was very good. As for ambience, I was distracted by the awful plastic plants all over the place. Lose them!

I have to say this may be one of the best Italian restaurants around. I went there on Friday night with friends for a holiday get-together and everyone, and I mean everyone loved their food. From the pizza's, cocktails, entrees, and the final dessert, everyone loved their food. I had the gorginzola salad and the lasagna. Both were delicious. Service was on point, and the restaurant was decorated nicely. Has an old-school feel to it.

The food is delicious and unpretentious. The presentation is rustic and I love the kitschy atmosphere/ ambiance. It's a good place to take your parents or grandparents. The service is friendly. I would return if I was in the neighborhood but nothing in particular stood out. The artichokes were well dressed. The pistachio cake was decadent and enough to share with someone. I enjoyed the pizza but the dough was lacking flavor and the texture was off. The toppings on the pizza were definitely delicious. Lastly our chicken and potatoes with sausage with a hearty delicious dish, I wish it was charred more in their oven but otherwise it tasty.
