We ordered a couple of tapas plates and it was ridiculous how the food portion came out. 17 bucks for croatian specialty cevapi dish, 3 small meat pieces. We have been to many croatian restaurants and never experienced this kind of quality and portion for the price! We all left very hungry. Burek was also very dry and tiniest burek we've seen for 17 bucks.

The sleek interior and delicious food make this a great spot for brunch with family or dinner and drinks with friends. You can get a taste of Croatian cuisine or choose from familiar classics. They offer an extensive selection of wines and spirits.Kid-friendliness: They offer a nice variety on their kid’s menu

Great place to enjoy cocktail and food in Huntington Villlage. I recommend lollipop lamb chops. Live music was enjoyable. Owner is very nice, cares about his customers. I highly recommend this place!!

My wife and I were planning to be in Huntington L.I. last week, the town where my wife grew up. We looked over the recent "Restaurant Week" offerings for that area and spotted ViNoTEKA 46, a restaurant we did not know, but were so glad we were able to get a reservation on Saturday night. Two of the dishes we were interested in that were on the special week menu, were also listed under small plates, the Wild Mushroom Ravioli and Cevapi (Croation Sausages). We opted to add another plate, the not so small potato gnocchi, and a beet salad, forgoing the dessert course that seems to be the main cost saving enticement of all "Restaurant Week" menus. Each of the dishes we had were delicious with wonderful mellow sauces on the ravioli and gnocchi, a tasty grilled sausage and fresh beet salad. A major purpose for "Restaurant Week" has been to help diners discover restaurants that they weren't aware of previously, our "discovering" ViNoTEKA 46 has reinforced that purpose, a place we will certainly return to and one we have already recommended to friends. The service we experienced was competent, pleasant and efficient in this casual attractive, yet somewhat noisy, restaurant.

Tried ViNoTEKA 46 with a friend. It was awesome! Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and gave great recommendations! The food was delicious, especially the grilled octopus, beet salad, and cod croquettes. It was pretty noisy, but the vibe was great. Highly recommend this gem!!

Food was amazing! I am gluten free and they had so many good options and everything gluten free was labeled with GF which made it so much easier to order. Had the meat and cheese board, gluten free flatbread with goat cheese, prosciutto and fig and lollipop lamb chops. Everything was so delicious. For dessert we got the gluten free flourless chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream (heaven). They have live music playing all night. The restaurant wasn't that busy on a Friday night, which I was so surprised because it's such a cute place and food was soooo good! You have to try it!!! Will be back.

I saw on the wine list an Orange/ Skin contact wine. When I asked the server about the profile before even looking on the phone for it, she said: it was a medium-body white infused with Orange Peel, and I was astonished.I told our server to wait whatI explained that skin contact means that during fermentation, the wine spends some time on skin contact with the grapes. So therefore, from grapes skin contact is where the orange color or tones on the wine comes from, not that it was orange peel infused, and she re-stated that she was sure it was orange peel infused and continued, "you can even taste it on the wine" assured me that her manager has told her so.I didn't even want to keep the discussion going because sometimes is not the server's responsibility to know about these tasting profiles, but instead is the duty of the Sommelier or Wine and Beverages Director. However, the service and hospitality were top-notch despite the incorrect information I received.Instead, I ordered the 6oz pour of this Amber Wine, a blend of Croatian native grapes and Pinot Grigio.I ordered - 6 oz por of Pinot Noir from Monterey, CA, for my guest.Food:We ordered The crispy artichokes, a great appetizer, the biggest surprise of the night, and the Cod Croquettes that were my favorites.I also ordered the Brussel Sprouts, Gnocchi with shrimp that was very oily and had only three shrimps.A New York Strip Steak for my partner with fries, but the fries looked over-fried. The New York Strip Steak was a good size portion and thick but with a sauce on top, kind of a bit different gravy.Hospitality was the staple of the night. They accommodated many families during the night, and the ambiance was excellent.

Food was delicious and the atmosphere is lovely. The food came out slowly. This was fine for our evening since dinner was the activity. No on rushed us. Really diverse menu that meet our gluten free diet needs.

When you search for the place, it is described as tapas, which is slightly misleading. It absolutely features small plates, and you can even get tacos, but the eclectic mix in the menu, with some unique Croatian dishes is not to be missed. The care and devotion shown is evident in each dish, the care shown by the staff, and the owner himself taking time to chat with us and make recommendations. This is one place not to be missed! Absolutely try the tomato soup, the Ćevapi (skinless sausage, onion, and pita), and the Burek (Croatian spinach and cheese pie).

Ambitious menu but the execution is not equal to it. We order five small plates. One, the cod croquettes, was excellent. The others ranged from bad to mediocre. The servers were genial, but the service was terribly slow, suggesting that the place is short-staffed. The room is terribly noisy, with tables packed in too tightly. Finally, they charge you a fee to use a credit card. This outrageous in a place where one is likely to spend more than $100 for two people.

This is a new restaurant and they get some things right and some things not quite so right, but it definitely has potential. The menu is varied; small plates, appetizers, entrees, a handful of meatless options (my partner and I are vegetarians). Service was very friendly. One thing that stood out was that the burgers literally come with nothing on them, and all toppings, including lettuce and tomato, are at an additional charge. I've never seen this before. The veggie burger was already $15.95, and but it would be $.50 for lettuce and $.50 for tomato, and $1.50 for cheese. These things are normally included in the price of a burger in most places, and the burger's price is already in the high side, so a simple cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato would now cost $18.45, and if I want other toppings such as onions or mushrooms that would be an additional $1.00 for each. Nor do the burgers come with fries, that's another $4 for regular fries and $8 for truffle fries. So we're talking over $22 for a veggies burger with lettuce, tomato, cheese and plain fries. That's just not right. Most restaurants, including several in the same area, include all these things for the same price. The roasted beet appetizer was delicious as well as the margherita flatbread. However, the spinach and cheese pie came highly recommended, and while it looked lovely, it was mostly phyllo dough and had very little spinach and cheese inside. We chose not to finish it. I think this restaurant needs some time to read feedback and work out the kinks.

We had a great night. It was a quieter Wednesday, but we usually come during the weekends when they have live music; they always bring in talented performers and we enjoy it. Great wine selection, I love how they serve it in big glasses so you can really appreciate the wine, and always the best wagyu burger in the village.
