Don't go here for your Chinese food!!! There was a fly in my rice. The worker was so rude and the restaurant smells awful like something rotten. The portion they give you is so small and it's overall just not a good place to get food from.

We have not been here since before Covid.. the buffet is closed now but the food is still outstanding. We came back from Florida for a visit and this is the first place we thought of to put on our to do list.. we are definitely happy that we did.. this is our place to go when we are up. We ate in the restaurant which felt fairly odd since we were the only ones.. but we are coming back

The buffet is no longer set up and running. That entire section is being used for storage. There is large plastic bags tapped up. The booths need to be replaced. The seats are all worn out and ripped. The food was okay. I have had better. They have gone down hill big

Food is always delicious & staff is always nice. This is the only place where I can get takeout, bring it home and my food is still piping hot like it just came off the stove.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs.

Everytime I eat here it makes me sick ... disgusting food.
The worst food ever! I got sick after eating their food. Will never go there again. The rice was stale, had a yeasty smell and the soup was terrible. I feel like they food poisoned me!!! None of their chefs were wearing gloves and mask. I found hair in my rice. I do not recommend this place at all- please stay away. This place should shut down immediately.

Main Moon's food is always fresh, hot and ready when I walk in the door to pick it up. I've never had to wait and I've never had a bad experience. Love their steamed dumplings and their lo mein! Highly recommend.

I went on yelp to find a Chinese buffet in Herkimer and went to the Main Moon on a Thursday afternoon at 1pm. They did not have a buffet so I walked out. Covid had been over for over a year and still no buffet? You think they would let us know on yelp!

I love this place and it holds a dear place in my heart. They were the first Chinese restaurant I ever went to and one of the first in the valley. When they changed up to a buffet, while I can imagine it was good for boosting business, it hurt their product in my opinion. For example, the General Tso chicken used to be crispy when you would call to make an order (pre-buffet days), and now it's soggy. Since this is one of my personal favorites, it unfortunately has kept me from ordering from them as regularly.
