Nothing really compares to this place. $15 lunch , table service, and they treat you like family. Flavor profile and quality, my only lunch spot when I'm in the area.

This place has fabulous kofta! The dinner platter comes with beautifully seasoned rice, hummus, tabouleh, and roast onions and pepper. Came with pita. My DC has the lamb kabob, which he enjoyed. I'll return when the kofta craving hits!

Food is great, some of the best Mediterranean in the area. The staff is always warm and welcoming. They have a good selection of snacks and drinks if you need to run in quickly. The prices on some dishes are a bit high, but the lunch menu is great and portions are generous.

I love Irvington Delight! Their falafel wraps are phenomenal. However, also get the home made baba ghanouj and pita from the fridge. And the muhamara (walnut spread) is sublime. This an old-style, family deli. It's amazing.

I ordered the lamb kebab plate to go and a bottle of wine. I was about 10 minutes away, and the food was already ready when I got there. The meal was pretty tasty, and I enjoyed the rice. If I'm ever in Tarry Town, I'll stop by and try other things from their menu.

Family-owned small business and it shows through how good the food is and how well it is prepared. Don't mistake this spot for a deli -- it's the perfect little deli-restaurant combination. The menu is incredibly diverse, ranging from finger-foods to full-on dishes. My absolute favorite thing to get at Irvington Delight is the BEC!!

I don't even like olives, tomatoes, or onions but this salad is life changing. Pics don't do it justice.Earlier this week I paid $18 for a salad from Chopt and it was so wet that it resembled soup. Very hit or miss there. But this place? You can taste the freshness. The meat is tender, the lettuce is crisp, the tomatoes are just the right amount of salty. It's $18 for a Greek salad + lamb gyro and it's going to become my go-to whenever I'm in the area. And, the walk up the hill to get there is a Rockwell painting. Plus, the family that works there is very nice. Truly, Irvington Delight lives up to the name!

Some of the most hospitable service you will find in Irvington. I've spoken with the employees/owners over the phone and in person, and each time they've been welcoming and accommodating. I am always happy to order here in part because I love supporting businesses that treat their customers right. The food is great fast-casual cooking with an authentic homemade feel. The standouts, by far, are the falafels -- either as a wrap or platter -- and dips. The baba ghanoush is garlicky and smokey, and the hummus has a prominent tahini flavor. If you prefer hummus with a stronger chickpea flavor, I'd recommend Lefteris Gryo; if you like tahini, it doesn't get much better than Irvington Delight. The chicken shawarma alone is good, if a bit dry, but wonderful when smothered in garlic sauce and shatta (hot sauce). The chicken gyro is solid, as is the Greek salad, though I was surprised to see the salad served with balsamic dressing. This place may not look promising on the outside, but step inside and a comforting meal awaits you!

The best falafel sandwich in Westchester! Don't be fooled by the unassuming store front, this restaurant knows how to make some truly delicious sandwiches.

No, just no. Don't believe the hype. Yes, it's homemade and the specialties (house made stuffed grape leaves) can be nice standouts. But overall WAY overpriced, and average at best. Just not worthwhile, have left feeling ripped off on multiple occasions. I get it Irvington, you've got the $ and want to support local. But a truly decent, reasonably priced Middle Eastern would be a great addition to the town.

Food poisoning central. This place does not come across as sanitary when walking in. I got the chicken shawarma, the amount of food they give you is good but the cut of meat is not good with bad pieces of chicken. Not high quality. The tomato salad also seemed old. Immediately felt sick after eating this and dealt with food poisoning the next day.
