“Such a cute coffee place in the commons! Definitely pricey compared to other places, but overall super cute and they work pretty quick. There isn’t a whole lot of space for the number of people they have, so you may not be able to sit down during peak hours.Vegetarian options: Only one vegetarian option (avocado toast) but it’s good!“
“The food is top quality. The homemade vegetarian soups, (I'm vegetarian, but there are non vegetarian soups- etc...) come with homemade bread & are satisfyingly good- so is the veggie burger! I regularly enjoy their fresh carrot juice & sweet/zesty mango mate'. The atmosphere is inspiringly serene, the service is usually prompt, & the Staff is gently friendly. To the Rep who replied, you're welcome!“
“Very cute brunch spot. The food and service were delicious. The coffee was excellent and I am very excited to go back for dinner.I got the eggs Benedict with a side of potatoes. Everything was seasoned perfectly. Also to note, the orange juice was incredible. Fresh squeezed and delicious.Kid-friendliness: Don't bring your kids here.“
“It’s a cat place first, food place second and coffee place third. It’s a one-size fits all, themed cafe so I couldn’t expect too much from the coffee on offer. It was slightly better than I thought. I got a 7.4/10 cortado and although it was okay, there was no flavour or milkwork to be seen. Come for the cats and not the coffee.“
“This coffee shop is a great addition to Green Star. The hot chocolate is awesome, I wanted another one by the time I was done shopping! Like other reviewers mentioned, the owner is personable and professional. Highly recommend giving it a try, and it's worth a special trip even if you don't shop at GS.“
“Their espresso is the best that I have had in Ithaca, and is the best espresso I've had outside NYC. It has sweetness and fullness, with a very mild tang of acidity. They make sure to give you an actual espresso cup and not a paper monstrosity. I would recommend this place very highly. I think most people treat coffee like a liquid dessert. They pump their full of artificial flavors and sugar, and then wonder why they felt terrible after drinking it. Coffee is an experience. You should enjoy just the espresso, with no additional fluff. Press Café makes it easy to do that. The only criticism I have, and this is truly looking for one, is that I wish they were open longer. If they were open earlier I would give them a lot more business- perhaps every day. If they were open later I would do the same.“
“Overall this is a nice cafe. The coffee and pastries are good and it’s nice that they have a wide variety of options. They also usually have new specials so you can always try new things. The only issue I had is that there’s no place to sit. The atmosphere is wonderful it just feels a little cramped.“
“This coffee shop ENCOURAGES customers to be more environmentally responsible by giving people discount when they bring their own mugs! So far, this is a very rare and precious practice in Ithaca, and I highly recommend people to go buy coffee at Gimme to support this practice (and its coffee is great ?“
“Restaurants in the middle of the mall so can be noisy with customers walking through. Gf and I ordered corn beef hash and Salem special. Beef was overcooked but sandwich and potatoes nicely seasoned and tasted great! Service kind of slow but was peak time on a weekend. Worth checking out“
“Stopped in for lunch with my friend and we each got a Latte and a melt they had. Service was amazing, unfortunately I can't remember the servers name, but the lattes were delicious. Even though the barista was very busy, the food got there pretty quickly for being the only employee there at the time, and both the Southwest Melt and the Caprese melt were very appetizing. Would absolutely stop in to get lunch or breakfast for there or to go.“
“The most friendliest staff on campus for Cornell dining. Real conversations and care for each order. I love my chai lattes from here and grabbing a quick snack in between meetings. If you are a regular staff will remember your order and go out of their way to make sure your order comes out in a timely manner.“
“If you decide that you want a break from your busy shopping, browse the prepared food, make a wonderful choice. Purchase it and then set yourself in a relaxing atmosphere and dine in peace.Vegetarian options: I'm not a vegetarian, so I'm not sure what they have.Wheelchair accessibility: The tables are far apart from each other, so you can navigate really easily.“
“So good! The people who work here are exceptionally kind and the food they make is delicious. We always get a Reuben and tiramisu or coffee cake (which is cinnamony and walnuty). You can sit outside on a nice day and they will bring you your order. I’m so lucky I live down the street!“
