A little Normandy in Finger Lakes! Meleau Port wines here have definitely reminded me of a fantastic breath of Celtic Sea, making the grapes suitable for a hellarius wine.I had a pleasure to meet Frédéric- the Master wine maker - and enjoyed every second of our chat over tasting fabulous, aromatic, hand-crafted wines here.If you know what French wine is, don't leave Cayuga Lake and Ithaca without visiting Ports of New York winery!
Amazing gem of a winery with such a beautiful venue, kind and knowledgeable owners, and a fantastic lineup of wines that are like nothing else in the finger lakes area. Their dedication to classical style wines is very refreshing for the area. You can see all of the passion and hard work that was poured into this winery; the history is fascinating and brings even more authenticity to this already outstanding example in wine making. I would absolutely recommend! the owner is knowledgeable and loves to share his knowledge. All of the wines were good, I thought the Bordeaux blend was AMAZING, and I loved the darker port as well. with only four wines to taste it felt like a wide range of flavors.
