Seafood platter was disgusting ? food tasted very old, I will highly not recommend. Customer service was great by the way.

The food here has always been great, although admittedly I only ever get the fried fish sandwich or a burger. But the place is so drab and dirty. More than one day's worth of grit on the floor; cobwebs in the air grate of the almost empty drink cooler; and unappealing decor.Last time I was in there I was peeved about the price. I got charged $4 more to get fries with my burger. I asked why it is $4 to get fries with a burger, when the menu says it is only $2 more to get fries with a fish sandwich. She said that's just the way it is. Then I got a surcharge for paying with a bank card instead of cash. Not cool.

The food was decent but I expected a bit more for the price. The fish didn’t have much flavor but the fries and sandwich were pretty good. The place was kind of dark and grimy, not as clean as you would hope a restaurant would be. The staff was pretty nice, however. I’m willing to go back in the future to give it another chance.

I really wanted to love the Cafe, but when I arrived they were very low on options which affected the quality of the food I received as well. I will definitely return to try different items as the owners were extremely kind and accommodating, despite the limited menu.

Quality is on par with most other better-known fish fry places in the region, but I like their sauce better. Fish and coleslaw taste fresh. The place looks like it could use some upkeep and is take-out only. Street parking is easy to find.

It's a small cafe. I always get the Fish Dinner with wedges. Good food, quick and convenient.

I am remiss at having forgotten to mention what may be the Greatest Cafe in New York. And that Cafe is the Red & White Cafe, in Ithaca. For that, I apologize.Where Plain and Court St bisect, just up the street from GIAC, which is the Greater Ithaca Activities Center: you will find the Red and White Cafe. Unexpectedly, this Fine Establishment quickly and efficiently servers the finest food variety to construction workers, community members and others on lunch break; with not much time to wait around for lunch to be served.Such a small business with big heart, great service, great food and long standing history of doing the Cafe business on that corner, should be recognized by the City of Ithaca as a Major Food Service Contributor to the Construction Industry which is building up our fair City, and service to it's Community and people of Ithaca at large.Stop by, say hi and grab a bite of really great food. On Friday's their fish fried haddock sandwiches are out of this world. They have fried chicken, foot long chili dogs, and burgers which make you wish you had ordered two instead. Just get it next time.I have been going there for years, and the food just keeps getting better.I do declare you will not be sorry you visited them!

Good fish. We ordered and was told 10 15 mins. We went inside and they asked did we order...we said yes we called they laughed and said they forgot lol but they were so nice we excuse it and waited and I have to say the fish was good too

The food was decent however there is no way it passes public food law. Cobwebs on curtains dead flies on the floor and a lotta dirt as well. Place needs a bath shame because the food was prepared well.

Great fish fry! ? a Friday dinner favorite. We regularly order potato wedges w/ buttermilk dip, or onion rings.

Had the best burger I’ve had in a long time from this restaurant. Price was unbelievably reasonable, and it was prepared to perfection!
