Good food. Awesome service. We went after sundown so could not enjoy the water view.

Friendly and efficient service. Reasonably priced. Very heavy food with lots of butter and cream. Nice view of the lake.

My scallop dinner had only 3 scallops served on rice and bean sprouts for $36. The flavor was very good, but in what world does a restaurant think it’s appropriate to serve a pricey scallop dinner with barely any scallops? The rice was not very good (taste like dish water to me) and the flavors were not Michelin star quality, but the price sure was! It was disappointing that they gave such a small portion of actual scallops. Also not thrilled they charged $2 extra for a gluten free bun on an already overpriced meal. The view and ambience was nice but I wouldn’t go back here after being served an insulting shrinkflation scallop dish.

In a world where jumbo size portions are the norm, The Boatyard offers half-plate options for some of the entrees. Thank you! And the clam chowder was excellent.

We had dinner there on a recent Saturday. It was fine, but the menu could use some refreshing. The Nashville Chicken sandwich had a really odd spice in the coating and was not similar to my other experiences with Nashville hot chicken. The salads are good. I would love it if they brought back the sizzling potato chips.

We stopped in on a Friday night after not coming for years. The warm weather apparently made a lot of people come because the staff were running at full speed. They still have lobster lollipops and I enjoyed an amazing Old Fashioned. The special was prime rib and I got one of the lady ones at 6:30. The rib itself was a little tougher than I've had but seasoned really well. The baked potato was missing some of the promised ingredients and was just shy of being fully cooked. My molten chocolate dessert had a chocolate disk in it, not molten, but I think the whipped cream was hand made. Our waitress was attentive but really busy, and has a great personality. So I would come back for lunch or in a week night to get a perfect experience.

The hospitality there is out of this world absolutely amazing. I took my husband there for his 40th birthday and I mean the way they treated us from the ladies at the front door to our server Amber girl you rock and I believe it was the manager I mean absolutely amazing and the food definitely 1000 stars that's on our date night list for now on I recommend anyone to go there. It doesn't get no better than that. We appreciate you. Chase & Marty McIntyre

Ashley was the absolute best server you could ask for while at the boatyard. The owner was also outstanding! We had some bobbles with the way our meals came out and they instantly fixed the problems. Highly recommend dining here, everyone makes mistakes and I can’t commend the front of house staff enough for the way they fixed them. We will definitely be dining here again. Thank you Ashley for your incredible hospitality!

Excellent meal (prime rib) for hubby's birthday. I inquired with server about a custom cocktail on menu a few years ago. She asked if I knew ingredients and had bartender blend up this beverage. Cannot speak highly enough of the level of service. We've enjoyed many great meals and excellent service at The Boatyard Grill.

(12/20/23) Got there a bit early, just starting to get busy. Seated right away, after the manager realised the hostess was taking forever with several people($#@&!) getting last minute gift cards. Had a very friendly waitress, attentive. Our drinks came out fast and were delicious. The jalepino bussiness was almist as good as there jalepino margheritas. Food also came out fast. Very tasty, as usual. Prices are getting a bit high. Nice treat evertime we come though.(6/23/19) Stopped by on a Sunday at 6, very busy but got right in. Our server was quick and super friendly. Did a good job. We got a seafood tower, clams and calamari- good as usual, but the seafood sauce for the shrimp was just weird! I got the black co entree- pretty good , as well as the tuna roll sushi- very good! Nice change up fo tBY. Wife got the tuna steak and it was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Still need GF bread, not very fair to set a loaf of bread In front of somebody when they cant eat it, especially when you've already told them you are GF. Let's find an alternative please. There is 10 million gluten/wheat sensitive people estimated! All in all, cant wait to go back!!!(6/2/18) went to Boatyard for a nice summer evening dinner. After the chaos of finding a parking spot, I was pleased to get a nice table right away. Our waitress was prompt and helpful, but not friendly at all. The other folks that brought our food were super friendly. Our drinks, mojitos and jalapeno margarita, were the best drinks we ever got there. Excellent. I didn't get his name, sorry, but I did recognize the bartender from past visits. Pay him, keep him! Our food which was a prime rib and shrimp and grits were delicious. I wanted another to take home! We look forward to returning another evening. Ps, please get GF bread and pasta. [7/7/17] Let me start by saying that The Boatyard used to be our go-to place, for years. Our last few visits,1 to 2 years ago, we're so bad for several reasons we had to stop going. That being said, it seemed like time to give another chance. Service was friendly, but a little slow. Food was excellent! The seafood tower is overpriced, but tasty. And you can't beat the view for sure. The drinks, which used to be great, were very weak and flavorless. And, we did not enjoy watching a filthy, barefoot person change his childs poop diaper right outside the window. And then he came in and picked up a to-go order, touching doors and who knows what without washing his hands. Disgusting. While what people do can't be controlled, it was a busy night and several people saw this, as well as at least two servers. They should have mentioned the lack of shoes to the person and definitely wiped behind him. Please, get some gluten free pasta!!!!Looks like things are headed in the right direction, we will be back.Update [1/19/18] : Stopped after some Cornell wrestling for supper. Our server was very friendly. Our food was very good! The new menu items were a nice change. Loved the shrimp rissoto! Our drinks were very good. Still would love to see gluten free pasta option. And maybe some gluten free bread, it can be found right in town fresh. Please, GF options. Overall, a very pleasant winter evening dinner!! We will be back.
