Good White Clam pizza. The restaurant is too small and really noisy. The wait wasn't all that bad but it's so tightly packed that I found it uncomfortable. The food was good but not an enjoyable dining experience.

The pizza here is really great, and the atmosphere, while small is really charming.The service is great and the food is really consistent. We tried the Beet appetizer with whipped ricotta, pistachios and mint and it was perfectly balanced and so delicious.The only thing I would change about this place is the drinking vessels. The beer is served in a Mason jar, while cute, it is less pleasant to drink from than a pint glass. There wine comes in a shout thick rimmed glass. This is just a preference but I find a thinner glass more enjoyable and elegant.

My friends and I were so excited to try this place, after hearing so many good things about it. We got to the restaurant at 6pm on a Saturday, expecting a long wait. We were told it would be an hour, and we put our name down and agreed to wait. At 7:15, we decided to check in again after not hearing anything. The hostess said they had decided they couldn’t seat us anymore because the owners had friends coming in. Super unprofessional! The least they could have done is let us know earlier instead of making us wait an hour in 20F cold!! This was really really dissapointing.

Great place for good Italian food. Their Mafaldine Truffle Alfredo pasta is delicious. Even their vegetarian pizza is tasty. Will get a pricey when you customize your food. The place is full on weekends.Vegetarian options: Pizza and Pasta

Busy restaurant with limited seating. We got there 15 minutes after opening on a Friday and it was already packed with Cornell students. Large wine selection but very limited beer or soft drinks. I had the tomato pie which was slightly more burnt than desired. My partner had the giardino which looked much better (less burnt). Overall it was good, but there is a lot of hype.Vegetarian options: Many dishes are vegetarian, meat dishes are clearly labeled. Not many options for vegans or dairy free crowd.Dietary restrictions: Tomato pie is vegan, menu claims to be able to have vegan cheese as a substitute for the pizzas.

I have been coming here for years and have yet to have a bad meal!I've worked in the service industry, so I understand their policies and can be patient with a long wait time. It gives you a chance to grab a drink at another spot nearby and the time is almost always much sooner than they say.My go-to order is a bottle of an Italian red wine, their homemade Stracciatella mozzarella, the spicy vodka pasta with chicken, a clam pizza with added mozzarella, and I can never say no to a piece of their baklava or tiramisu!

Awful, awful experience! Wait was longer than expected and before being seated, I had a horrible interaction with an angry rude staff member who refused to tell me his name or that he was actually the owner!! This ended with him pointing to the door and telling me to get out! I was not surprised to read other reviews of customers who had similar experiences with the owner, George. My husband and I are regulars at many local restaurants surrounding Thompson and Bleeckers. This experience made us appreciate how lucky we are to have so many great places to dine with delicious food and hospitality we are accustomed to. Go check them out!

Waited more than 45 minutes for a table on Wednesday night, got yelled by a pizza cook for talking to someone at a table while waiting, and got kicked out before even getting a table. Turns out it was George, the owner who yelled at my wife!!! I have never experienced such abuse in a restaurant in my >25 yrs in Ithaca!!!

Best food in town hands down, very worth the wait, and deserves all the hype it gets. Each dish I have tried has never disappointed. My favorites have to be the vodka roni pizza, any of the pasta dishes, and the Stracciatella appetizer. Also the staff is very helpful and I receive amazing service each time I dine in or pick up which is very often!

Some of the best food in Ithaca!! Every time I’m back in town I make sure that I go to Thompson and Bleecker. The trip just wouldn’t be complete without. The food is INCREDIBLE; so fresh & delicious. On top of that, the staff is super nice and attentive, and it’s a wonderful atmosphere. Seriously, just do yourself a favor and go. Go right now. 5 stars all around!!
