Ras Malai is completely off. No cardamom no rose no pistachio nuts, super dry. Would not recommend. We got 2 other sweet for 1.5 each and it came out super tiny, kalakhand is so dry.

the food is good and tasty, but the place is unsanitary and needs a DOH inspection beware of their sweet chutney. serving area and kitchen need cleaning up with the amount of monet they make they could reinvest a little in their own restuarant.

The best food we had in new york, it was like having a home cooked meal like my mom used to make.

Worst ras malai I have tasted. It tastes like kitchen sponge to clean dishes. I am sure They are selling them from a can or package and displaying them as made fresh

Almost 10 years later we visited this restaurant. Not much has changed from the outside and the seating arrangement (at least 20 people can sit) and the quality of food (which was good), but their service was not 100% on point. We had to wait for a while to order because the workers were busy talking among themselves (felt kinda ignored ?) and had to wait again for the food, even though we had to go & pick up from the counter. Not sure what was going on or maybe we came in one of their bad days. I recalled it wasn't like that when we visited them for the first time... I guess with time things really change ? Still if you're in the area and looking for vegetarian food, this is a decent place to be. I wish them all the best ?Vegetarian options: Panjabi vegetarian food

One of the lady works here who has very rude with me and my mother. She said keep standing when we asked for who is taking order! She was not even looking at us when we were ordering. Seemed like she is not interested to work. This lady had heavy makeup on with nose piercing, most likely Bengali. My question and request to the owner is why would you guys hire or keep employees in your business who is not attentive to female customers and only serves male customers?! The only reason why we stayed and made purchase is because we enjoy their sweets very much. But it will be very hard if this attitude keep happening in future. I highly recommend you to bring male with you since this women seemed only interested to talk to male customers.

Incredibly good food at a good price and super authentic. Came to Jackson heights just to eat some Indian food that I haven't been able to have in a while. Samosa chat was delish and so was the choke Batura. Loved the mango lassi as well. Overall 10/10 meal!
