Eww is all I can say. The food was mushy and not at all worthwhile. Even if the food was ok, the service was abysmal. There's 4 types of restaurants, those diamonds in the rough where the food is good and it comes with good service. Then there's the good food joints where the service sucks. After that there's the places that have meh food, but great service. And lastly, you guessed it, comes places like the Catfish Cafe: where the food is terrible and the service is worse. Not sure why anyone would waste their time here when there's so many better delis and food in the area.

We went there after midnight and to our surprise, the food was good. The fish portion sizes are a lil small in comparison to other places, but they make up for it in taste. The look of the place will throw you off, but give it a shot.. you won't regret it.

I'd give zero stars if I could. I work 2 mins away at the airport, myself and my co workers try to order from here time and time again. They'll accept your order, take your money and not answer the phone and be COMPLETELY CLOSED. I SUGGEST THEY LEARN HOW TO BE UNAVAILABLE ON UBER AND GRUB HUB. ITS STARTING TO UPSET A LOT OF PEOPLE

A small restaurant that I have visited before in, the past. I normally order take out and the food is normally prepared fresh when it comes to fried food. I find their food to be extremely salty, sometimes to salty that you can't eat the food. I do enjoy the Mac n cheese, candied yams and string beans. Kool aid is a tad bit sweet but when you add ice it's perfect.

if i could give zero stars i would.. door dashed this order and 40 minutes after ordering they call me to tell me they're out of whiting... 35 minutes later food arrives zero tarter sauce zero condiments... 35.00 order for what.. 1 hr 10 minutes of my life i can't get back, and 35.00 in the home.. threw ya food away... f*#k you very much!!!

Omg!! I will never order food from this place. ( collard green was salty) catfish was stinky/ horrible. I wasted my money. I think it’s a new owner or new cook. Before COVID it wasn’t like this. Keep your money in your pocket. You will be very disappointed.

I don't like not giving at least 4 stars but this was not their best day. I went on a Wednesday. Most items I ordered were not in stock. The yams and collards were good. The whiting, smothered pork chops and barbecue chicken were mediocre. Also, only had legs. After paying, was told it would take 45 minutes to be ready. Really disappointed.

Covid has nothing to do with the service , they open when they want and they hire women of older age who don't wana work but have to !! So their miserable !! 5.20.22 the cook answered hung up and did that about 4 more times, instead of just not showing up to work !! So now I can't order Idw her to do anything to my food , the owners use to care but idk maybe new management dgaf , food is either good or trash and the service is it's best at 12am when their slim younger clerk is working

I don't eat meat but all their sides are above average. It might be in the hood but it was my 3rd time going there I've never been to a place where literally everything tastes so fresh every time. My friend got pork chops and he said they were really tasty. All I suggest is add black pepper to your mac and cheese and it slaps lol it's good and fresh as it is but tastes a bit plain without pepper bc they don't seem to overdue it on salt and sugar in their food which is good imo lol

We ordered the catfish (fried hard), Mac and cheese and yams, with a iced tea. The catfish was perfection, sides were fresh and yummy. Tea, sweet nice and cold. Regular.
