Good food and better prices. Service has been good too. The atmosphere is a bit old and sometimes the air is musty…But food has always been the same “steady” which is good. Excellent lunch specials. Traditional and simple.

It's disgusting, I went to buy food and I saw when the cook's pig was preparing an order of pupusas and she dropped a pupusa on the floor and she didn't throw it in the trash and gave it to a customer. I won't buy food in that place again. What I see at the restaurant didn't work for me and I told the waitress and the owner that's not done, I could have made the customers sick with those attitudes, of course she couldn't swallow it.

El Comal is a really small place, but they are known for an El Salvadorian dish called Pupusas. It is essentially a flour tortilla stuffed with either cheese, chicken, or chicharon, along with a slaw ( repollo). Delicious ?!

I called to pick up and they told me it would be ready in 20 minutes. I picked up my food order and it wasn't ready yet. But that didn't bother me but the attitude of the cook who responded that she didn't mind giving me raw food. When I had said it could wait and that there was no problem.

Funny they deleted my Google review but I'm posting herePlease please pay attention to your bill when it's time to pay. They add a tip to the bill & think it's okay. It is NOT!! Especially adding 18% tip. Food wasn't the greatest. Had better,Horchata was watered down. Service was slow ,Read other reviews! I confronted the waitress about the added tip, her response was her boss is the one who enforces and automatically puts it on.How they been doing this for a while,I told her I would like to speak to her boss, she said okay I'll go get him. He didn't come to the table. instead the waitress came back to the table with a new printed bill without the added tip! Never again will I step foot in this establishment.
Great Spanish food, if your in the area don’t hesitate to stop by. Our server gave us some recommendations and options. Food was so good!

Had a chicken tamale and a mixta pupusa, both of which are my favorite and they were both delicious!!

their pupusas are delicious but the wait for them to be made is long - so sit tight and enjoy some fresh horchata - trust it's worth it - the pork ones anyway. will be back for more
