Glad I fought this gem, food was delicious! We got the curry goat with rice and peas, veggies and sweet plantains, a small porridge, side of mac and cheese and a piece of red velvet cake. Everything was super good, the ladies were very nice. The restaurant is clean with NO funny smells. Cant wait to go back and taste the rest of the menu.

One of the best Jamaican places in NY city. Its a GEM hidden a block down from the LIRR station. Very simple place but the food is sooooo good- MUST TRY! We had their Goat curry and Steak combos- they come with rice/beans/salad and the best plantains i've ever had! The meat is sooo tender and well cooked- The food is so well prepared just as in its name-Home style! Staff is the most attentive and helpful. Loved this place!

Had lunch here en route to JFK and stopped off in Jamaica. I had jerk chicken and my friend was more adventurous with curried goat. Fantastic spot with super tasty food and lovely service. Highly recommend!

The food was nice but the stewed chicken could’ve been cooked a little bit more.

If you are placing an order online for delivery, do not count with this restaurant to care or take ownership of going through the right process of taking care of the customers. They don't care and they do the least. Should pay attention to the services they partner with and proper menu availability.

They gave me a good portion of oxtails but when i tried it i was deeply disappointed. I see the comments say the food is hit or miss.. i guess tonight was a miss. Very bland. The plaintains are nasty .. the rice and beans tasteless.. oxtails bland they taste like tomato paste.

Food is always good here.At times there's a wait but it's because the cashier shares food and if she's sharing no one else can cash you out.Well that was then. I just ordered veggie chunks and the entire thing was awful. Too salty and no flavor. Miss G's can do better. No fork either. I normally love ordering from here.

They cancelled my whole order and literally waited until I got there to pick it up to tell me. Literally drove 25 minutes. SMH.

Visiting from San Diego. Stopped here for dinner. I had the Ox Tails, Rice n Beans, Cabbage with a Pineapple Ginger drink. This is truly down home to the bone cooking. If you pass this restaurant and wonder if they can cook. We’ll wonder no more. It’s the best!

The prices are good and the portions are decently sized. The food itself can be a hit or miss. Some days the food is so good you just gobble it up. Tonight was definitely a miss; my stewed beef was dry, chewy, tasted old, and overall unpleasant.
