Checked into a dayroom for our 7 hr layover at JFK & couldn't have been more pleased! We caught the shuttle off the train from the airport, very quick and easy. The front desk let us check in about an hour early, which was so helpful and much appreciated. We immediately dropped our bags in our room and grabbed breakfast from the buffet that was set out. The food was pretty basic but totally got the job done and we were satisfied. The real highlight for us was their gym - very well-quipped! Lots of cardio machines (multiple ellipticals & treadmills &, I believe, a bike, but not sure) and free weights & a pull up bar with a cable machine. It was so handy to be able to squeeze in some breakfast, a rest, a workout and a quick shower during our layover rather than loll around JFK. We'd never done the dayroom option anywhere before, but I totally recommend it, especially at this hotel! Thank you!Rooms: Big, comfortable, clean room!

The staff was super nice, but the rooms were way too dusty. Don't stay here if you have dust allergies.

Terrible hotel that only exists because airlines book you there without option. Surly receptionists, stained and ripped carpeted hallways and rooms, very old style, desperately needs renovation. Rats running around the street outside. Do not recommend! This does not represent the Hilton name!

Typical small New York City hotel. I think my old Brooklyn studio was larger. We didn't stay long, just a quick overnight before an early flight.Great little bar and restaurant on-site that's open til midnight. Good food and sizes for the price, too.The rooms are surprisingly clean. I expect cleanliness from the Hilton brand but these exceeded expectations.I ky complaint I have is the free airport shuttle does not run before 6am. If you have an early flight, expect to still pay about $22 for an Uber/Lyft to the airport from here.Still, better than $65 from the City.Overall, would stay again if needed for a JFK flight.Rooms: Tiny, but clean.

We slept the night of 12.25.23. Room rather old and very noisy due to the very close motorway and inadequate fixtures. Terrible value for money.Rooms: Room rather old and very noisy

Just okay hotel, fine for one night stay as it is very close to the airport.

I found this hotel a let down. The room smelled terribly. The pillows were old and lumpy. The shuttle service is only every 45 minutes and doesnt start until 6am making it a hassle. I wouldn't stay here again.

I didn't think a Hilton could be this bad.The only redeeming parts of this hotel are the front desk staff, the restaurant staff, and housekeeping staff. The shuttle driver was pretty cool as well. I was definitely not a fan of maintenance or security. The rooms are dated and my ceiling was terribly patched and looked like it had water damage. The toilet didn't hold water so you had to jiggle the handle to fill it with water so you could flush. The showers drain "eventually" according to maintenance. I took a shower and had standing water up to my ankles. I asked them to check it out and the maintenance guy tried telling me that's normal. Then he was like it's all the rooms. So he took me to another room to show me the it also didn't drain. Then he said that's closing the place next month to fix this issue.Dinner was pretty good, even though salmon and potatoes was $40 on the menu; but breakfast seemed lackluster for over $20. My biggest complaint in that department is that they don't just serve free coffee in the morning like 99% of hotels, and they only leave you one caffeinated coffee pod in your room. There are no social spaces there. There are 2 chairs in the lobby, and some decorative table with 3 chairs. Then they close the restaurant which has a TV and seating, but security doesn't want you sitting there because he said "I wouldn't want you to be accused of taking anything". They have salt shakers on the tables. Idk who's going to take that. That's the only hotel I've been to that doesn't let you use that space after the kitchen is closed to hang out with other guests or people you're traveling with.It was a massive disappointment for 300 or 350 a night.Rooms: Dated and the plumbing in the showers was terrible across multiple rooms.Food & drinks: Pretty good hotel restaurant, but the prices are slightly ridiculous.Noteworthy details: Some work needs done to justify the prices for this place.
