I rented the party hall to host my anniversary party. The hall was well organized, neat. Affordable rate, the owner was very cordial. Would recommend!

Came here for an event and on a 90+ degree weather, and they decided not to turn on the A/C. Instead, they used ceiling fans (at low speed), and stationary fans that didn't even rotate. Some of these fans did not work at all. Food was below mediocre too. Would not recommend...

Dirty place ever. You can see rats and cockroaches running around the food.

Bathroom smeels like dead body flushed down the toilet.

Rifat Shifat

Worst place to eat.

The food is good here and the service is also exceptional. Besides that though if you are not Indian you are treated as such. They definitely make you feel like an outcast if you go there ordering food and not seeing the right names. This is why I stopped coming here, I never really felt very welcome

This place has great food. From the outside it may seem somewhat unassuming but that's fairly consistent with the neighborhood. Nothing is really flashy around here. When you first enter you see a hot buffet table that normally has at least a handful of folks waiting to order something quick. I've tried all three of their biryani - chicken, beef and goat - and all three are great. The samosas are also excellent and there's never a problem getting an extra tamarind sauce. In a hurry I will grab the lentils over rice which always hits the spot. There is also a squash dish I've never had anywhere else (I think it's a common dish though) and it's great. I'm partial to squash FYI. Past the first room there is a dining room with a sit down menu to order from. Seems to be pretty standard Indian fare. I've probably had all the staples at this point and never a disappointment. If I have to pick a winner though, the coconut shrimp is probably my favorite dish here. I'd highly recommend sitting down if you have a couple different friends joining and dine family style. The staff seems to be consistent because there's a handful of familiar faces. They young fellow Nipoo (sp?) I've ordered from a lot and he's awesome. Always smiling, always friendly and always very helpful. Taj Mahal will not disappoint.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I just got a tray of rice and some mixed veggies..took a few bites and then saw a piece of MOUSE P*** IN MY FOOD. Could not be more disappointed and repulsed. Please, please, do not eat here.

Bad service, bad environment, very dirty. The only good thing is the price. That's all.

I worked down the block from here for awhile and would come here for their veg or chicken samosas which a pretty good . I must say this restaurant is very inconsistent with their pricing. I've placed many order over the phone and went to pick up or just walked in and ordered in the restaurant and most of the time I'm ordering the same thing . One day my bill will be $10 and then $14 for the same food and I'm usually in a rush and don't have time to deal with it . My suggestion is to just ask how much your meal is upfront here.

Don't order from here! Such a terrible restaurant! We found a potato peeler in our food!!! An entire potato peeler, I don't know how they missed that. It doesn't seem like we're the first ones to get non food items in our order. Who knows how else they're handling our food. And they messed up our order. Never ordering from there again!!

Decent food, but too greasy. Crowded place, and decent service. The food's not too expensive, and portions are decently sized. If you want the best of what Indian food has to offer, this is not the place.
