One of the SLOWEST emergency I’ve been to. They don’t even know what they are doing. I wish they understood the word EMERGENCY

I've had a completely healthy and normal pregnancy. I even reach full-term at 39 weeks I went for a sonogram appointment, and the doctors tried to force me to induce my labor.. no accurate reason why, besides the fact, knowing I'm a new mother, with less support than the average person. These people are so inconsiderate and will do anything to get money out of your insurance. I haven't had any signs of labor whatsoever. Why would you rush my process? I left against medical advice and went to another hospital where they told me me, and the baby are perfectly and healthily fine, to go home and relax and wait for actual signs of labor. All this is done for me was caused me anxiety and paranoia. After I signed the AMA, they had the security guard chase me two blocks outside of the hospital while nine months pregnant.. not only that they had put a police missing persons report. The detectives closed the case because they said even the hospitals story sounded conflicting. They were upset that I didn't allow them to induce me and take over my rights to my pregnancy ! NEVER AGAIN .

Only complaint is the Emergency walk-in waiting time. 4-7 hours of waiting time is painful for a patient who's already in pain.Doctors, Nurses other employees are nice.

I’m in the ER right now, have not seen a doctor yet, I was here waiting since 3:39pm, now it’s 8:30pm. I’m still waiting in the hallway of the ER, not even in the actual ER!! What else can you say….. ?

The emergency room in Queens General needs so much more improvement. If one is not able to advocate for themselves they are lost. I have experienced at its worst during Covid; and I can truly say I haven’t seen much change. The nurses are unresponsive. I feel sorry for the ones that have no family to intercede for them.

Waited for more than 4 hours at the ER, and still waiting, they are so disorganized. The worst ever.

I would avoid going here. Long wait for the ER. I've also had a terrible experience in the hospital while visiting someone. They were transferring my family and I hadn't been informed and I carried my dear ones things to go because I was sitting there visiting. Right as we entered the place that they were transferring my dear one to, the IGNORANT nurse looks at the other person and says "I don't know what she's doing here." WHY WOULD YOU NOT TELL ME WHAT IS HAPPENING TO MY FAMILY AND THEN ACT AS IF I AM STUPID AND NOT HERE?! Would it have been so hard to explain what you were doing? Every time I pass this hospital I get angry now. I left with my loved ones things, CRYING. I thank the lovely receptionist that let me cry in utter frustration and hear how rudely I was treated. Don't go here.

Bless, change, create the patient's life prognosis with my blood donations. Unable to be purchased with money currency. Make her story or his story.

Does not even deserve one star. I just returned from a 3 hour wait at this emergency room. I went through what they said was registration… patients that came after me kept being called into the triage area… and I was waiting in gruesome pain. I went to the receptionist nurse to ask what happened, and this guy joked saying I should walk inside the emergency area and ask what’s happening. I got upset when the triage nurse came out asking for more cases and my labels were missing. One of people from the reception took me to “fast track” emergency after realizing the error. Once I got inside, it was even worse!!! People inside didn’t have space to sit down! Patients had been waiting for five hours and hadn’t had their vitals taken… no one took my vitals, nor spoke to me. I understood that I wasn’t getting any medical attention here. Came back home for the night, going to my primary physician tomorrow morning. Hopefully I make it. If you wanna live, don’t go to this emergency room. Just utterly terrible!

If you're reading this and thinking of using Queens ER , don't come !!! Your health and well-being are of no concern to these hospital staff. I have been here for the past 1 hour and 45 minutes, and I see the staff inside chit chatting and calling people here and there while we have barely 9 people in the room in pain waiting to be seen. I had come because of severe pain in the left shoulder and chest, but to see this lack of care, it's just mind-boggling. I am told by one of the people waiting that this is a city hospital and it's very normal because they love to do less here. They said if it wasn't an emergency, they would have gone to Jamaica Hospital or LIJ hospital.I am so disappointed seeing how these staff operate, and unfortunately no upper management to ensure these staff don't just sit in the seat and scroll through their cell phone for 15min after seeing each patient.
