This was one of the top 2 dinners we had both in the City and in the Hamptons this week and was also the least expensive. We couldn’t believe they have Chilean Sea Bass kabobs, and they are only $13 or $20 for a meal. Excellent. Also the dumpling chicken broth dill soup, baklava, hummus, pickles, fries, hot tea- literally everything was fresh and prepared to perfection. As other reviewers have written, this is a hole in the wall find, and I would come all the way to Queens to eat here again! Very near JFK. Service was fairly quick, clientele mostly large families, takes credit cards. Wonderful Israeli/middle eastern cuisine in a very casual atmosphere at very reasonable prices!

My fiancé and I live around the block and this is the second time that we tried to eat at this place. This time we walked in and the guy on the grill gave me the ultimate Death Stare and he said “we can’t accommodate you. We are too backed up on the grill” however moments after another party walked in and was seated. If you’re running a restaurant you should have proper staff to accommodate. I’ve never experienced or heard something like that before . You try to support the businesses in this neighborhood but it’s pointless.

Fast to order. Great to eat. Reliably solid chicken and beef kabob. And good clean sides as well. Excellent fries too. Instead of a hummus side they should add a spicy sauce of some kind but I'm sure if you ask them they will provide it.

Doesn't look like much and they could work on friendliness but the sushi is, or at least was, fresh and delicious.
