Ordered from this place over the weekend, and I wasn't really impressed to be honest. I originally ordered oxtail with Rasta pasta and homemade ginger beer only to get a call 2 minutes later telling they didn't have Rasta pasta OR the homemade ginger beer. I had to get Mac and cheese instead. I won't lie they DEFINITELY made up for it because they gave me TWO drinks and a large oxtail instead of the medium I originally asked for. The food wasn't bad, the mac and cheese was oily...it wasn't anything I'd jump and holler for....but the customer service was good. They also packaged the food VERY well making sure none of it spilled which I also appreciated!

I am absolutely satisfied with the customer service, the food, & everything! When I tell you this Mac and cheese was bussing… I mean it was bussing! The curry chicken was my absolute favorite. Cassava ball is great with the sauce too.

I basically tried everything on the menu and it was all delicious. My mother loves Jamaican food, especially j*** chicken and this place does not disappoint. Good portions and the price is reasonable too. Definitely recommend this place.
Oxtail and chicken foot mixed together was on the menu. I didn't taste it but it neva look safe at all.

First time trying this place I decided to place an order for a Large Oxtail, Rice & Peas with a side of Mac & Queso. Ten minutes later I received a call that they're out of Mac & Queso so I substituted it for J*** Wings for my Hunny. The woman I spoke to was pleasant and hooked me up with 5 decent size wings. My food arrived promptly, but I wish they would've put a little time and effort into the food. The food was bland, the oxtails were super fatty and the rice had no flavor. I also asked for extra gravy which was spilled all over the bag. Hunny said that the wings weren't bad and I agree. They had a nice unexpected heat to it, but I wish they were cooked a little longer. If they were baked just a tad longer to achieve that dark fleshy color I enjoy they would've been perfect. I'm hoping that this was an off day for Mento Caribbean Cuisine because my order tasted nothing like I had craved for.
