This past Sunday I decided to treat myself to a large oxtail dinner…the oxtail was Super Hard, not cooked well… I was DISAPPOINTED, the food is usually top notch, but NOT my $50 meal…asked for pineapple Ginger soda, but received pineapple soda☹️…makes me rethink about using Tropical Jerk as my go to restaurant for delicious Jamaican food.

I love their food especially the fried chicken omg the best. The pork also very tasty. However the service gave it a one star reason the little short fair skin stocky female that’s at the register she always have an bad attitude every time she’s there it’s like you annoying here rolling her eyes sometimes I want to go get some food when I see her there I don’t go. They really need to talk to her about her customer service manners it’s disgusting if you ask her for something she gives you a dumb look or answer you with an attitude. Oh say you forgot to order something you ask her can you add something else boy you just pissed her off I can’t I’ll get food when she’s not there I feeel very uncomfortable with her. Besides her the food is great.

Found my new jerk chicken spot on this side of Queens. Their food and service are great. This is one of the only Jamaican restaurants where ALL of the staff are pleasant. So much so that the cook came out from the back and started serving customers while the front staff was busy during a huge rush = that is service. Parking could be better but they are located on a busy road so there is nothing you can do about that. Otherwise, 10/10 for the Liberty Tropical Jerk team!
