In a realm of culinary experiences, one seldom encounters an epicurean revelation as transformative as the chicken fried rice at windies. Its seemingly unassuming presence belies the gastronomic symphony that unfolds upon every meticulously curated plate. The aromas, a melange of toasted sesame oil intermingled with the tantalizing essence of stir-fried chicken, serenade the senses, hinting at the imminent culinary opus about to be unveiled.Upon the first forkful, an orchestra of flavors dances intricately on the palate. The rice, an impeccable amalgamation of delicate grains, possesses a subtle nuttiness elevated by the wok's kiss of char, rendering each morsel a celestial experience. Each grain, anointed with the rich legacy of the savory soy sauce, orchestrates a harmonious balance of umami that enraptures the taste buds in a euphoric rapture. The chicken, a manifestation of culinary finesse, transcends mere sustenance, embodying a texture so tender and succulent, it effortlessly surrenders to the slightest pressure of the tongue, releasing an explosion of savory perfection. Its marriage with the rice, an alchemical union, beckons one to the zenith of gastronomic delight. The verdant embrace of finely chopped scallions and the crispy whispers of garden-fresh vegetables emerge as nuanced companions, bestowing a delightful symphony of textures and flavors. Each bite tells a tale of craftsmanship and dedication, a narrative woven by the skilled hands of culinary artisans. This transcendental epicurean experience becomes a nexus, a pivot upon which the understanding of taste and culinary excellence is recalibrated. It shifts paradigms, redefining one's gastronomic expectations, and imparts a lasting impression that echoes through the corridors of memory. The chicken fried rice at this humble local establishment isn't merely a dish; it's an indelible masterpiece, an enlightenment that elevates the essence of culinary artistry and forever alters the palate, leaving an enduring legacy of gustatory delight.

Nice Carribbean music! Wide variety of menu options ranging from authentic Guyanese West Indian meals to Guyanese infused Chinese dishes. They were also willing to create an off menu dish for us. The sweet and sour chicken is always on point, so I asked if they would make a sweet and sour jumbo shrimp and they gladly obliged. Needless to say, it was mouthwateringly good, took me right back home to the way it's done in Guyana!

I walk in to place a take out order, the bar is empty with 1 individual at the end of it, I girl working the bar. I stand at the bar to place my order, the bar girl tells me to wait. She walks around the bar to all th e occupied tables and comes back to the bar and tends to the man at the end and then proceeds to walk by me back and forth and back to the man at the end of the bar where she decides to stand and conversate with the man at the bar.... so I had to get out of character and yell Can I get some service. It was really an upsetting experience being treated that way. And honestly I dont even know how I feel about my $50 worth food after that experience. I know better to ever argue or upset people dealing with food. Who knows...

I placed an order for pick up on 4/9/2023. I told the waitress what I had ordered, and she acknowledged it. I gave her my credit card, and she took a call. The call lasted 5 minutes, and she came back to me with my card and a pen. I signed the receipt. Without saying a word, she turned away from me to help other customers. I stood there for another few minutes when she saw that I was still there she motioned with her head that the food was on the counter. I am a very patient person, and I can tell you with certitude that I will never patronize this establishment ever again. Talk about being rude. That was a horrible customer service experience that I have ever encountered.

I've been coming to this Guyanese restaurant/bar since they opened and although I've moved out of state, I always make it a point to visit whenever I'm in town. The music can be a little loud at times, but the food and drinks always make up for it. The fried shrimp is absolutely delicious! Staff is great too!

I have travel to this restaurant for the curry goat. Lately they run out. My friends have order our food and they love it. I usually pick up the food and go and most of the time it's ready. I will be going back.

We randomly came here on Thursday just looking for somewhere close to home to have a drink and celebrate a birthday. The bartender was managing all alone and she was amazing! Super attentive and kind. The place is small and cozy. The food was pretty good. Your typical Guyanese Chinese dishes. I will say the calamari took me by surprise. They had their own spin to it, spicy with onions and peppers. We had a fun time ordering beer buckets and apps here. With good music and chill vibes.
