Just got a couple milkshakes and a small dish of the frozen custard (vanilla/pistachio twist, yay!). Come here semi-regularly. My favorite sandwich is a regular roast beef on a Kaiser roll with onion rings and mashed potatoes in the sandwich on the roast beef. Try it. It is outstanding!Parking: I've never come here and been unable to find a parking spot. I suppose it's possible, but I've never had that experience, nor have I ever seen anyone have it. The only time that it's difficult to find a spot is around Christmas because they sell Christmas trees ? in the lot; but even then I've never been unable to find one.
Please consider getting an ipad/kiosk for customers to have the option of ordering on; it would eliminate such a large margin of human error, free up valuable employees, and make for a smoother experience.This evening I ordered a shake flavor listed on the menu. The trainee stammered for a bit before saying, “I don’t think we have that”, went and got another employee that started shoving this blue paper at me saying something completely irrelevant about a schedule, I just wanted to order a shake. I’m guessing they got shake flavors and custard mixed up, and that’s fine, I understand, it happens. Had I realized, I just would have gotten the first thing. So, when I finally got the secondary shake option, I thanked the trainee who replied with a loud and rude “YUP”.
The frozen custard is always top notch, love me some twisted custard with sprinkles. I've been meaning to try the food menu but it's just so pricey I stick to the custard. Nothing wrong with sticking with the "usual"!

Visiting from out of town and can't believe how bad the food is here now. Nothing like it used to be. The kimmelweck roll had maybe 4 caraway seeds and 4 specks of salt, the beef was over cooked, the gravy had absolutely no flavor and needed salt. Fries were nothing great either. The service was good but with the food so disappointing, I won't be back.
I used to think Anderson's was great. The flavor of the ice cream just isn't that good I'm also disappointed with the sub par service and inconsistent portions. The inconsistencies are extremely frustrating especially because of the price. Its annoying ordering a small ice cream for the kids and then ordering a medium or even a large and it looking like the same amount of ice cream. Then when I say something they just brush it off or ignore me completely. Another thing that was disgusting to me is when the ice cream machine hasn't been used for a little while and that first amount that comes out is warm liquid milk filling the bottom of my cone. Honestly I regret going there every time.
