“Another reviewer seems to have a personal crisis about Brooklyn and city people, so maybe she had it out for this place because of the "B" word in the name. And it's hard to say what "Brooklyn Style" is...that's a pretty big tent, and even if the people are from Brooklyn, it takes some cajones to name your joint "Brooklyn Style Pizza."Anyway, we were driving through the area and tried this joint. Thankfully, this place was quite good. Initially I thought the pizza was a little boring (very "friendly" sauce, bright, but not too herby, acidic, or sweet). The cheese was very mild in flavor, lacking the nutty bite you get in a typical good slice joint...I'm not sure what it was.But stay with me. Their pizza grew on me. Pizza is personal and I respect their take. Most importantly, points on their dough, which is the hardest part of a pizza to get right. It's hard to get dough airy, thin and toothsome. This one kept a foot in New York but was looking towards Naples with the lightness. Really good on reheat.Garlic knots were straight-up excellent the day we had them. They would be excellent in Brooklyn, too.One request: put your prices on your website, please.“

The entire family & staff are the kindest and they are so happy with what they do and it really shows through their smiles and food. I will be coming back again very soon & can’t wait to tell everyone about this place !! Still drooling over that veggie burger ?“

“Food always consists of plentiful portions served relatively fast. Great for families with kids. Service is pleasant...and there are great views of the Kinderhook creek from the back section. Can be a little noisy at prime meal times when it's crowded- hard on hearing aids...or those with hearing issues. (Off times are much quieter)“
“Went for the first time today. Great atmosphere with friendly service!! Had coffee and cinnamon roll. Was very tasty. If you are a fan of motorcycles, coffee, good food, and bench racing check them out. We really enjoyed our time there and got to meet Ian and had a great chat with him. We will be back!!“

“OMG We live in CT and came to NYC for an appt and things. For fun, we went to the farmer's market in Union Square and bought some of your incredible, amazing, delicious, gluten-free brioche buns and we're amazed! We can't wait to get back to The City so we can load up! We'll totally place an order before we come with our empty back packs! I have celiac disease, so it's a huge deal to me and my guy to find such an awesome bun! We're not even huge bread eaters and we think these blow everything else away with or without gluten! They also keep well in the 'frig and toast up beautifully in the air fryer. We can't wait to try more of your GF options, too. Thank you so much!“
“Cold, rainy March night in Chatham, NY. We felt the need to get out for dessert. The People's Pub has the (gas) fireplace and the working kitchen welcoming us for carrot cake with rum cream. Neighbors are at the bar,". Glad we stepped out.“

“Cool vibe inside and the chocolate Keffir is awesome. It was a little sticky and not as clean because of the amount of kids running around and their parents not attending to them. That wouldn’t stop us from coming back though, cool products inside too.“

“Our adult children, from Brooklyn and upstate, and I, were excited to plan a surprise birthday luncheon for their Dad and my husband. The atmosphere was nice enough, and our server, Cat, was outstanding! The drinks were nice but they ran out of a beer we ordered by 1:30 pm on Saturday. Otherwise, aming a party of six, we had 4 beers, 2 Juice Bombs, 2 Health Margaritas, a glass of Chardonnay, and 3 other drinks...a total of 2 drinks per person. To start we ordered a plate of raw oysters and deep fried artichokes. Both choices were fine. We also ordered 3 Salad Nicoises which were a huge disappointment and should have been renamed, A Small Smattering 0f Tiny Greens With A Hint Of Dried Tuna, Whole Intact Garlic Clove, a 3 Discolored Green Beans Marinated in Vinegare with 2 Baby Potatos. If you were envisioning a classic Salad Nicoise, buyer beware. A 3 ounce portion of seared medium rare tuna or oil packed canned tuna, together with hard boiled eggs, Nicoise olives, and tomatoes with vinagrette were missing in action. The salad appeared to have been pepared with an eye to the least amount of preoaration“

“I've come here before for produce when I was in the area -- don't miss the in-season peaches and tomatoes! -- but this time I was on a quest: I wanted the sweet corn ice cream. I used to love corn ice cream when I lived in China (you can get these tasty corncob shaped ice cream novelties at convenience stores there) and I wanted to try the real-deal fresh-produce version. If you're in the Albany area, do yourself a favor and make the trip. The subtle, summery sweet corn ice was delicious, but the goat cheese and raspberry was also excellent, and the friendly young staff was handling the crowd with aplomb. Pick up some plants or produce while you're there, or just hang out at a picnic table and enjoy the summer weather while it lasts.“
