Love this place for brunch! The full brekky with mushrooms, tomatoes and sausage is my fave. Beignets were yummy as well. Great service too.

I'd say the food was under-seasoned if it was seasoned at all. The coffee, on the other hand, managed to be worse, which is a remarkable achievement. A second star has been awarded under the assumption that their sweats and pastries are better than their hash. Hopefully your experience is better.

Bartender/hostess wasn’t wearing a mask. Cited “medical reasons.” Will not be going back for this reason alone.Food was sub par; brunch salad was small, missing ingredients and added chicken was weird/hard to eat in a salad. Truffle fries were good though.

Grainne is new to kingston and offers a great dining experience. the food is unique. i had a sausage dish with homemade sausage, broccoli rabe and a little pasta, whoa! i can't stop craving this delicious dish, too bad its not on the menu all the time. Service is awesome and atmosphere is fun. highly recommend this restaurant. And they have a bakery next to the restaurant that they do the baking right there. cookies are off the chart yummie!

Open on weekends! Cozy yet spacious bar bakery and brunch. haven't tried everything on the menu but planning on it!

We had the perfect fall evening here. The food was excellent, the service was friendly, and the ambiance was cozy.

Dinner there with 3 friends last night was really disappointing. First off masks are required of customers but apparently not staff. The bartender, who served the bottle of wine we ordered, was not masked the entire evening. The rest of the wait staff did wear masks. We had the salmon with vegetables and both the salmon and the vegetables (which were mostly beans) were way under cooked. The beans were actually hard and inedible. There were 3 choices for dessert a crème brûlée, a deconstructed chocolate cheesecake and an apple cranberry pie. All 3 were unimpressive and when asked if the apple pie could be served ala mode we were told that there is no ice cream or whipped cream for that matter. We did convince our wait person to have the kitchen whip some heavy cream and make whipped cream for us. The desserts were all served cold. This may be fine for the cheesecake but the apple pie and crème brûlée should have been served warm. The atmosphere is a little too sterile. Lighting could have been lower. There is a doorway into another room next to the bar. Overhead lights in that room were on fully and this was really distracting since we were sitting facing that room and the light from in there shined right into the dining room. Also have to mention that the unisex restroom was filthy. So disgusting decided to wait. Really wanted to like this place and, having worked in food service for many years, I think there is potential. It's just not there yet.

This was the best meal we've had in many months of eating all around Ulster County. Almost everything on the menu appealed to us and will be ordered was most delicious. You must try the brussels sprouts the salmon was cooked to perfection the cheeseboard was delectable and the service was excellent - great wine well priced. Best of all kudos to the mother and daughter who own and run the place well done.

Updating my review to clarify a few points: just had an extremely poor experience here. Not sure if it's solely because they are understaffed and/or the host and waitress are just very rude people or both - as I suspect. Experience started off great as I was served coffee and water while I waited for the rest of my party of 6 to arrive. After the full party arrived, which included 2 children, we were noticed that we would be having an additional person join us. We let the owner know this and she rudely said "had I known, I would have sat you elsewhere." We declined to move and then were ignored by waitstaff for the next 20mins. While I understand that many restaurants are struggling with being understaffed across the country, no one even came over to acknowledge us, take other beverage orders, or apologize for the wait. We watched the waitress go to the table beside us three times without so much as a look in our direction. We ended up leaving. Would not recommend this place it all. I miss Duo.

Definitely didn't appear ready to serve the public... waiter's second day on the job, no one greeted us upon arrival for ten minutes even though no other patrons were in the restaurant, bubbles in my Tito's Cosmopolitan that was awful, food subpar. Won't be going back.

It was our first time there. We went for lunch. The food was pretty good but the service was MIA. Highly recommend the brussel sprouts in chili sauce, the creme brulee. Portions are good sized. Will try it again.

Charming, great food, attentive service. My only complaint is that it was a little cold in the room we were sitting in, but otherwise was lovely! Situated in a highly walkable and beautiful part of Kingston.

We came for the music (Peter Einhorn and Lou Pappas) and hoped the food would be good. We were most pleasantly surprised. Food was great. Chocolate cheesecake, more like a light moose, was fantastic!

New gem in Uptown Kingston. Food is creative but everything was very good and priced affordable. I had a burger. My wife had salad with salmon and we split fried brussels sprouts...wife loved them...they were a bit too sweet for me. My burger was outstanding! Nice beer and wine list too. We will be returning.
