It was very cold there. We didn't understand how the servers worked or who ours was. We were there an hour or more before our meal came. The food was delicious! The decor was beautiful!!

We were out shopping and asked the salesperson where was a good place to eat and they recommend the Hoffman House. We were seated right near the fireplace to warm up from being outside. Our waitress Sam was very friendly and prompt. I had the fish and chips while Hubby had the Chicken Fettucine special. Both were excellent! The homemade cheesecake was delicious. So if you are in the area give this a try, I'm glad we did!

We dined at Hoffman House midafternoon and practically had the place to ourselves. The historic building is in excellent condition and room we dined in was very cozy. The dishes we ordered (fish and chips, pasta special) were delicious. Service was average.

The food was great with flavor, a filling portion and reasonably priced. I loved the atmosphere the most, it was warm, cozy and a historical setting that almost sends you back in time to when it was first built.

Wonderful small town watering hole and restaurant. Fantastic menu with nicely sized portions. Margaritas were magnifico! I had the garlic skirt steak and stephany had the Seafood platter. I had gorganzola crumbles on my salad that comes with the meal, and a nice and crispy baked potato. The steak was so tender and yummy...a very nice portion. The seafood was really tasty, but a bit smaller portion. Lots of other interesting things on the menu! The house was soooo cozy on a cold winter night. We had the table right next to a huge fireplace. Perfect. We WILL be back.

Warm and cozy old stone house with a fireplace burning in every room. The servers are friendly and efficient. I ordered the London Broil with Madeira mushroom sauce. It was a perfect medium rare, juicy and plentiful. It came with a double baked potato and salad. Big bang for a buck! Everyone I've turned on to this local gem agreed it's a real find and is now our go to restaurant.

Went for dinner on a cold night. Was pleased to be seated across from the fireplace. Provided a nice ambience and warmth from the tavern door being constantly open with other patrons arriving. Our server was very friendly and accommodating, however was not timely. Seems he disappeared often and we were visited by a young lad offering water refills. Our requests were made through him to our missing server. The dinners arrived after some time of waiting and were fresh, hot and delicious. We ordered the angel hair pasta for the toddler which was a huge adult portion for about $10. No meat, just a red sauce, I thought was overpriced and oversized for a child's meal. We paired our meals with the beer menu which complimented the food. It was an average experience and we made the best of the visit by enjoying the positives. Would like to visit during lunch in the future.

Superb food - we had salmon, garlic steak, crusted chicken and pasta. It was all tasty with the steak and salmon melting in your mouth. Service was professional and customer friendly on a very busy night.
