I usually order take out. The chicken soup is great, best soup in Kingston if you are sick. The papusas are delicious. My kid is very picky and he loves the tacos. Prices are very reasonable which is a great perk!

Delicious pupusas! Abundant portions! Try the cashew juice drink. It's light, fruity, and refreshing.The only thing I didn't like was that our appetizers came out at the same time as our entrees.Dietary restrictions: The only pupusa that doesn't have cheese is the pork one.Parking: Parking lot right next to the restaurant.

The food here was really good! The papusas were out of this world (we had the revuelta and the cheese and chicken papusas) and the nachos had so many toppings and was filled with so much steak and avocado, definitely very filling. The restaurant was so accommodating and the owners were really kind. Great food and service all around! Would surely be coming back here

The place has an interesting vibe... lol. I personally wouldn't choose to dine in. I ordered 3 pupusas to go. The bean + cheese were pretty good but the loroco didn't do anything for me. The pupusas came with some slaw and 2 hot sauces.

We been a couple times now. The restaurant is always almost empty, the bar slightly more active, but that is probably because we tend to eat dinner weirdly early (5ish). The pupusas are fantastic, as good as my memories of pupusas in South LA. Pleasant back room with cheerful decorations, would be a fun place for a family gathering or celebration.

At first look this appears to be a dive bar, and it is, sort of. Except don't expect to see rows of drunken people passing out on the bar. It's actually a really great place to have Salvadoran food. I've been here many times and maybe once in twenty visits did I ever see anyone actually drunk. I do see , however, lot's of parole enjoying this food. For me the yucca frita con chicharone(forgive my spelling), the pupusa-of all types and the tamales con pollo are what I LOVE here! Everything is always cooked to perfection, the yucca and chicharone is perfect. The yucca is light and crispy and not at all oily and the chunks of pork are crispy yet moist and tender with just the right amount of fat left on the pieces. The pupusas are delicious and not greasy like I've had a t some places. And the tamales, we'll.... Let's just say I'm making room in my freezer to bring a bunch home the next time I go so i can stock up. My wife, an avid soup junky, is in love with the sopa de res. We will sometimes call to see if they have it before we take the 35 minute drive. If the have it she asks them to save one for her (in case) and if not we'll hold off for another day. If I were to rate this place on the food and friendliness it would be five stars. It loses points for decor and ambience. These things seriously don't bother me but I just want to let you know for those who find that important. The service is great. There's usually only one person I can remember actually seeing there -always. Doesn't matter what day I've gone or what time and she is always pleasant and attentive and keeps up with everything going on.
