You can’t go wrong with Sweet Maresa’s but in particular the cookies (their macaroons tend to be very sweet!) - the thumbprint, the pistachio, truly all of the cookies are phenomenal. Also love the small vegan cheese and meats case!

I stop here every now and then when I'm driving upstate to my brother's place by Rhinebeck. Him and his wife and kids (lots of kids) are all vegan, so I can generally get a good variety of treats for the house. The bakery products always look lovely and the store's overall aesthetic is very nice, but I find the actual taste and flavors to be very hit or miss- some things are excellent, some very mediocre- but there's so few vegan options upstate, so this spot is certainly filling a void. However, the staff very frequently are unwelcoming, sometimes to the point of outright rudeness. They seem to treat their paying customers in a very snobbish manner for some reason, which is unfortunate. I often walk out wondering why the overall experience was so strange, but I guess it's just something that you have to live with if you want to have a vegan dessert in the Hudson Valley.

I love this place and their fabulous macarons! They have some oversized ice cream macarons just like they make in France. They also carry some other gluten free desserts as well. The space is adorably decorated and one can sit there or walk around uptown Kingston to enjoy your sweet purchase.

Best vegan desserts! So good, especially the tarts and the thumbprint cookies. Everything is cooked perfectly, loved the flavors, not overly sweet, lots of flavor, loved the vegan pumpkin tart with vegan marshmallow topping. And the owner and workers are very kind. Clean and cute!
