Very bad experience. I didnt like the fact is you dine in you have to pay for refills. Your meal does not come with any sides and i feel the sides are over priced for the quality of food. They only accept cash so i had to use the ATM where i got charged for that as well. I ordered a soup which was served with a paper bowl and really greasy. Au jus sauce was almost clear like it wasnt au jus at all but instead what the meat sits in. I asked for a to go box and they offered me tin foil! Honestly just an overall bad experience.

Stopped in for a large fry not too long again and they were soaked in grease. I understand they're fried but there was a pool of grease and I just couldn't eat them. And there were ants everywhere on my table and window. Made me wonder how the kitchen looks. I was just so disappointed and frustrated that I just left. No pics, no sorry, no recommendation. Stay away from this place.

I was thrown out by the owners daughter because of my service dog Apollo (who was acting and behaving perfectly) when we first got there an employee asked us to show Apollos certification and I told her that the ADA has no certifications for service dogs then after she took my order the owner's daughter came out and asked to show Apollos certification and I told her there is none. She then proceeded to ask me to put him in the car and I explained to her that Apollo is my alert dog and that he can alert me to a heart issue, along with another type of issue and she told me that my dirty filthy dog can't be in their restaurant. They are also non handicap accessible because their wheelchair ramp is broken up with a chunk missing, there handicap parking space needs to be repaved and is on a slant and I'm in a wheelchair and I have a rear entry van and backing out I had to have a friend get behind me so I wouldn't flip over. Their bathroom is not handicap accessible at all, I also had an extremely hard time moving around their tables

Best place in all of Buffalo for a roast beef sandwich and curly fries. My In-laws brought me here 20 years ago and I’ve been coming here ever since. The roast beef is ALWAYS tender and lean. The curry fries are the best I’ve ever had, like nowhere else. I don’t know how but they are light, crispy, and never greasy. Even when you get down to the bottom ones. The service is always great and they are not shy with serving sizes. There’s a lot of places to eat here in Buffalo and Steve’s has been one of my top favorites for years. Thank you for always serving great quality food!!!!!!

This place is just OK. It took 30 min for 3 sandwiches over the counter. The prices are high seeing that nothing at all comes with the sandwiches - the portion and quality is average. The meat was on the dry side - no au jus. The space hasn't been updated in 30 years - looking old.Cash only - ATM on site. This place was really great back in the day. It's sad to see the dropoff over the years.

I'm not sure how anyone can like the old meat this man serves, but ok. This place WAS excellent when the old owners had the restaurant about 20yrs ago. Used to be the best in the area. This guy cuts corners. If you get a fresh sandwich AND fresh meat...You've lucked out.

Stopped there with my friend yesterday and the lady at the counter was pleasant & helpful. The place is very clean and you can eat in or takeout. We decided to eat in. They have a good selection of sandwiches and sides. We both ordered the roast beef which was moist & tender. They dip in au ju & there's horseradish, if you like. I also ordered the hand-cut curly fries which were delicious. My friend ordered the potato salad, which he said tasted homemade & very good. They had a good selection of soft drinks and some beers to choose from. If you're still hungry, there are homemade pies. Unfortunately, we were full. Next time. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised and had a good experience. This is a great neighborhood place. You need to stop by and check it out. I will be returning soon.

Probably my last time going here... every time I ask for a RARE roast beef.. Bloody RARE if they have it. They haven't even come close to a medium... it has become obvious they pre cut slices and just re heat.. not fresh cut beef on wecks... a major disappointment. Please see pictures.. not even color from Au Jus on the roll...
