Locals seem to like this place. But for 2 burgers and a soup (no drinks) our bill was over $50. Five Guys and Shake Shake burgers taste better in my opinion and are bigger than what my husband and I were served. High prices aside I do not recommend this place for out of towners by food quality alone.

Spent four days in LG. Night #1 Go to The Garrison. It is PACKED. Line out the door. Food & service are great...couldn't believe the turnaround on our burgers and dessert. ? Night #2 Go to The Garrison. A third of the seating is empty. "I just want to warn you it's over an hour for food. Our kitchen is slammed." She seemed happy we chose to go somewhere else. ? Night #3 Call The Garrison to avoid wasting a drive. "We're busy," when asked how busy they are and refuses to give an estimated wait time. ?Sooo it's a great place 33% of the time but most of the time they don't care whether you stay or leave? Someone needs to train (or fire) their staff. Or maybe they really don't care. ?

The food was really good, the atmosphere was nice, clean friendly. Good was really good the artichoke dip was insanely good and they come with nachos and thin slices of bread. So good- Cesar salad was really good and the crispy chicken laid on top of the salad.

Great food!! Pork wings were amazing and their beer selection is awesome! Best onion rings ever. A newly found hidden gem, especially in the off season. Staff is phenomenal.Parking: Easy, well laid out and lit, flat.

Drive past the restaurant and it looked good so we went in for lunch ( should have kept driving ). Hostess sat us at a table with a nice view but no one was around so I asked her if there was a server for this table and she said “ I think so “. After ten min wait I asked her again and she said yes. After another five mins another server came by and asked if we have been waited on and she said no one was assigned to this table but took our order. Started with chili and onion soup, neither was hot. Two burgers ordered medium rare and medium and they came out well and well down. The food was on the level of what you would get at your local Friendlys restaurant. Service was super poor. The bar looked packed but would not recommend this place for the food or service.

We were in Lake George for the weekend and The Garrison was walking distance from our Airbnb. We came here for dinner our first night and it was TERRIFIC. Amazing service (everyone was SO nice, our waitress Tammy was wonderful). They were so accommodating with additions/subtractions to what we were ordering off the menu and got everything right. The food was fantastic. We had such a good experience that we decided to come back for dinner our second night in town LOL. It was just as good, if not better! They had live music and the atmosphere was so awesome! We sat by the fire after dinner on their patio. This will now be our go-to spot every time we visit LG!

The service and the ambiance were very good. Loved the college banners and our waiter was excellent. The food was below par. I had a grilled chicken wrap and most of it was the wrap. The fries that came with it were stale. My niece had boneless wings with Thai chili sauce and they were cold and somewhat tasteless. My friend had the Buffalo wings and he said they were good but my wife had the sliders and they were expensive and barely anything to eat for that price.
