“My wife and I came here for the first time a few evenings ago (Thursday). We made reservations ahead of time, and the restaurant basically expects this. While the restaurant has a very nice selection of wines, we brought our own special bottle as we were celebrating a special occasion (the restaurant does charge a corking fee). We were greeted by the friendly hostess and seated immediately at a table for two towards the back. Our server, Ellie, arrived quickly and, observing our bottle, brought us wine glasses and a bottle tray. She was excellent all evening. For a starter, we ordered the grilled asparagus from the "small plates" menu. This was delicious. As a main dish, my wife ordered the baked Idaho trout while I ordered the pork ribs and polenta. All were very tasty, and the presentation was appetizing. Portions were just right. All in all, we enjoyed our special evening, and the service was excellent; attentive, without hovering. We will be back. I gave "Atmosphere" only four stars due to the rather noisy dining room, making it sometimes difficult to be heard, possibly due to acoustics and the fact that part of the kitchen area is right in the dining room.”

“Really love this place for food, service and ambiance. Their bang bang shrimp appetizer is very good. My wife had a filet and loved it. I had the pork chop, since others raved about it. I hate to admit that I was disappointed. It was seasoned beautifully and had a delicious taste, but was a bit too dry, and therefore, a bit tough. It was also extremely lean; I like that layer of fat on the edge of pork chop. This seemed a bit too closely trimmed.Parking: For a Wednesday evening, the parking lot (and restaurant) were surprisingly full, but there were a few open spots.”

“Not even sure where to start. This place exceeded every expectation we had. Absolutely wonderful experience from beginning to end! Our waitress Gina was incredible- our drinks never went dry, she was so attentive, knowledgeable and charismatic! The crab cakes were delicious and we agreed that the filets and alfredo sauce were some of the best we've ever had. They even brought out a complimentary tuxedo cake for my birthday at the end of our meal, a very thoughtful touch. We will absolutely be making the 3 hour round trip from Rochester just to come back!”

“Two of the burgers I ordered were wrong, I double checked the receipt and they were put in correctly but made wrong ... I'm sure if I had gone up and asked them to be fixed they would have but they were very busy and I was in a bit of a hurry, so I chose not to. That being said they still tasted pretty good after I scraped off the pickles and sauce. The chocolate shake was decent but not my favorite. I would very much have appreciated a condiment station of some sort to put ketchup on the burger. Even though I wasn't super happy with the food I still think they deserve 5 stars, it's a new business and you can tell they are trying and are getting any kinks worked out. I look forward to trying it again in the future and hopefully having a better experience with the food.”

“Not just cakes was able to come to a pop up event I hosted and it was a huge hit!! Todd was such a pleasure to chat with and made coordinating so easy! All of the people there raved about how delicious everything was! I got to try a few of the Cheesecake Nachos, a Reeses cupcake, and the cake parfait and it was all so amazing! I would highly recommend checking them out for your baked good needs or any events! I can't wait to have them back again next year!”

“I was here to experience the eclipse ice cream. It is chocolate ice cream mixed with orange sherbet. The orange sherbet is nicely refreshing; the chocolate, is good, but not as rich as I hoped it would be. Perhaps a dark chocolate ice cream? My serving was fine. A single scoop is reasonable priced. It is a very small ice cream shop, with only four small tables.”

“If I had to say one thing that was not good, it would be that there were people that came after us and got served before us because something was wrong with the computers or I’m not sure, and our order had never been put in . The restaurant did adjust the bill because of their mistake. My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner after that. The staff was amazing. It was relaxing and we were allowed to stay and talk.”
