There is usually a wait for a table on weekends. Be aware of this. Also, know that they use paper straws so expect to need to use multiple in your drink if you're there for any amount of time. (The straws are on the table so it's easy to). The food is excellent!

A staple in our area (Lancaster), Frank's is a name synonymous with good food, cozy atmosphere and that neighborhood feel. We enjoy coming here, as it is consistent with quality ingredients at a reasonable price. We stopped in recently as part of their 39th anniversary (congratulations).Over the years Frank's has expanded. The once open air patio is now enclosed offering more seating year round. There is always plenty of staff and service is generally really good. This last visit wasn't what we have come to expect. Many of the more seasoned veterans who have been there for years are always smiling and cheerful. Some of the younger staff haven't acquired that same level of hospitality that we have come to expect, our waitress in particular.Overall its a solid choice and we will certainly return. Could have just been someone having a bad day...

Terrible Experience - Rude Hostess - Forever to get seated. .Party of 4 went in Friday @ 4:30, figuring early we'd get seated quicker - NOT THE CASE. Hostess told us 30 -40 min, ok no problem we headed to the packed bar. After 40 minutes I asked and they told us we were next table. After an hour, they told us same thing. After 70 minutes the hostess walked by and we asked her, she told us she's working on it. I told her we've seen several parties going back and she said they had reservations of 5! I told her we have been waiting over an hour, she told me NOT TO BE RUDE ?? WHAT!! Then she told us, "YOU CAN LEAVE IF YOU WANT" after waiting 70 minutes. NOW WHO IS THE RUDE ONE!! By the way after another 10 minutes and finally getting seated, I looked at all the tables in the back and ONLY 1 - had 5 or more people. I guess the trick is to call for a reservation of 5 even if you have 3-4. FRANKS LOST 4 CUSTOMERS!!

Worst fish fry I've ever had. Expensive dinner and left very unsatisfied. Might have just been a 1 time bad experience but I won't return. Staff was friendly.

Fish fry was just okay; batter had a weird "off" taste and my breaded fish fry was over cooked and dry. Waitress said that the salads were homemade but the potatoes in the potato salad had that gritty processed texture like you'd buy from the grocery store. Macaroni salad and Coleslaw were bland. Our server was very very friendly and food came out quickly. I didn't have the heart to tell her we didn't like the food. It was $60 for two fish fry's and three beers, which is ok but it was cod not haddock. I'll come back again but not for fish. Weck and wing special was good in the past but you can't get wings on Fridays.

This past weekend I came in on a Friday night at 5:30 and met two other ladies there shortly after I arrived. We were waiting on a fourth person but decided to order instead. At some point during the evening we were asked to leave the table. I would assume because they had other parties behind us.I have never been asked to do so, so we tried to wrap things up as quickly as possible until either the manager or owner came over and asked us to exit out the back door so that we can get out quicker.I have eaten at this restaurant several times and although parking is difficult on a busy night. I continued to return due to the quality of the food. After speaking to several people, many have said they have never been asked to leave a restaurant. My suggestion would be to tell the party that no one is to be seated until all parties are there or explain that it's a time slot and that we had to be out by a certain time, neither of which we're done. All four of us said we would not be returning anytime soon.

Really good burgers. But you ruin them every time because you do not toast or grill the roll. It's like having a sponge on your really good burger.
