Amazing service, waiters were super attentive, friendly & able to pick up on a joke, too :-) Food was delicious, fresh ingredients and good portions. Also loved their wine & cocktail menu, had the berry mojito - so yummy! Definitely a solid choice for a somewhat upscale dining experience that won't break the bank.

Our first visit there and it was for brunch. I had avocado toast with eggs. I had very little of avocado, only on the center of the bread, but other than that it was pretty good. The atmosphere was very pleasant. I would definitely go again. And I do recommend!

This was my second time at this restaurant, and the service was great, friendly, and reliable.Apps: I tried the wings (2 flavours) and the calamari. Both were of great quality, and well cooked and crunchy. The flavour combinations on the wings were very well paired, and the quality of the chicken was great. I love wings, and these did not disappoint.The service comes with bread and scones but they are served at room temperature (experienced this both times I visited), so I did not have any. Others at my table enjoyed them though, so I guess they were nice.Main: Fish and chips. The fish was well cooked and the waffle fries were a reasonable portion. I didn't enjoy this meal much because the fish seemed bland (barely any flavour), but again it was cooked perfectly. The order comes with coleslaw, but I opted to leave that out of my order. The portion size was big, and I ended up finishing the rest for dinner.

Quite literally the most disgusting steak and eggs I have ever had at any restaurant in my life. Especially for 30 dollars. I'm not a chef, by any means, but I'm usually the friend who "mans the grill" and makes the steak/burgers. The steak tasted so horrible that I actually couldn't force myself to eat all of it. This will be the first time I've ever wasted steak in my life. The staff did notice that I wasn't enjoying the food and tried to ask me about it but I was so grossed out I didn't even want to get another order. It tasted and looked like burnt rubber. The staff was polite but didn't even take the steak off the bill. They probably would have if I had made a stink, but it's not the waiters fault and I didn't want to make anyone uncomfortable. Food 0/10.

Updated review. December 2023. Had a wonderful casual meal. Food was fantastic and service was great. I highly recommend if in Larchmont, NYGreat bartenders and cocktails. Live music was a good touch but the volume was way too loud. Could not converse with my meal guests.

Mid food that’s trying to seem like a fancy restaurant. Burger was somewhat dry and bun was oversized and not good. Pickle was just a cucumber with a faint hint of vinegar. Very overpriced for what it is.

Tried both the carrot/ginger soup, and the white onion soup, served with warm crusty bread, and both were excellent. The flour-less chocolate cake was light and delicious. Espresso was perfect.The sole disappointment was the grilled portabello and pepper salad which suffered from too much vinegar and no seasoning (marjoram? thyme? nada)On the Friday night we tried Chat 19 was a cheerful family night for many customers with well-behaved small kids. It was 6:30pm, and gradually the diners evolved to include more couples on dates.There are jumbo-sized photos of old Hollywood superstars from the 1930s to the 1950s that decorate every wall: Myrna Loy, William Powell, Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Bacall, Marilyn Monroe, Joe DiMaggio, Clark Gable, etc.Great place. Will come again.Kid-friendliness: Kids friendly dishes like burger sliders and fries.

Chat 19 has a fabulous location but you’d think Larchmont would have better restaurants. The food here is so bad and over priced. I ordered fries as a side because the food was mediocre and those were cold and also bad. I’m always disappointed in the few times I’ve come here in a pinch.

Website says they are open at 10:00am on Sundays. It’s 10:08 and they said they are not open for brunch but will be in “10-15” minutes. Not happy. We planned a seven person brunch around the information on their website.
