If you want the best experience, atmosphere and Mexican cuisine then Tequila Sunrise in Larchmont NY is the place to go. The owner is one of the nicest people you will ever meet greeting you with a warm hello and checking on you throughout your meal. Very highly recommended.

My family and I have been dining at this restaurant since I was a child (in the 1990s) and it’s as awesome and delicious as ever. It’s not exactly what one might describe as your everyday “traditional” Mexican cuisine. But in my opinion (as a New Yorker who has never been to Mexico to sample the cuisine) it’s much better. The chicken fajitas are great, their salsa is delicious & the flan is legendary. They offer a full bar, tended with excellence and the table service is wonderful. The servers are great - always as efficient as they are friendly and the same goes for the rest of the staff, both kitchen and dining room. The restaurant is also more than happy to offer a fun birthday celebration complete with dessert, singing & souvenir sombrero. Definitely worth a visit!Parking: Parking can be tough, both day & night. Tequila Sunrise is located on a pretty populated thoroughfare so it’s often difficult to find spots nearby. Parking is free at night but during the day there’s meter/paid parking (bring quarters) that is regularly monitored by parking police.Kid-friendliness: While the restaurant is more oriented toward adult clientele, they do welcome children and offer a kids menu with both Mexican options as well as American alternatives (like chicken tenders & French fries).

The best thing about the restaurant is the attention of the waiters. I didn't like the food. I ordered fajitas and the chicken was completely salty and they said it was because they put soy sauce or similar, and it looked dry and not fresh. The tomato soup didn't look like tomato, it was almost terracotta colored and full of super greasy strip chips. They said it had a powder with a spice that they couldn't tell me. In short, highly seasoned food with extra strong flavors.

This place was cute! We came here to celebrate my grandma's birthday and they made it a great experience for her! The chips and salsa to start were delicious and the guacamole is even better - highly recommend. I ordered the mixed fajitas for dinner which was okay - definitely could have used more meat but the flavors were pretty decent. My boyfriend ordered a burrito which he was underwhelmed by. The espresso was good though! We got drinks afterwards which were pretty good - the blue one was the best (I can't remember the name).

for me personally i got the chorizo burrito and my friend got ceviche i felt as tho my food could have definitely tasted a lot better as did my friend i ended up sending it back but the empanadas were alright

Went here tonight for dinner with my mom. Last we were here was almost 8 years ago. Drinks were good. Food was aweful. Table was sticky. The salsa tastes bitter and salty. Guac was good. Empanadas were soggy and tasted like they were in freezer for a long time. I had the 3 enchiladas they were just ok. My mom had the fajitas and the steak looked like sliced flavorless overcooked dog food. Server and wait staff were nice. Will never be back here.

Definitely reduction in service since my last visit. Our party arrived for early dinner and had several different people try to take our food order. Once that order was placed the staff rarely checked in. Need better communication between staff. Food was good.
