“Me and my boyfriend found this place over the summer and have been frequents of circle pizza ever since. The food prices are very fair and all the food is amazing every time. The staff is supper friendly and we never have an issue with the order. We have 4 kids and this place is very afordable. Our fave dish from them is the chicken over rice it’s always so fresh and so delicious. Today my son got an Oreo pie piece and that also was amazing. You can’t go wrong here. Between the food the prices and the staff it really is top notch.“
“On the very first night of Ramadan. I went into Mazadar just as the fast was breaking. The manager was flooded with orders. The place could be classified as casual with its numerous tables and families inside. I ordered the Chicken Kofta and it was simply divine. You couldn't tell me I wasn't dining in the finest Afghani establishment outside of the actual country. If I am ever in Colonie again, I will return.“
“I've tried a few halal places around Albany, but the food at Aria Kabab just kicks. Their meat is so tender, flavorful, and delicious. I love getting their rice platters and the lamb shawarma sandwich; it really reminds me of the times when I used to live in Hyderabad, India. Also, a huge fan of their sauces! I also loveeeee the quantity of the portions.“
“Went to Afghan Kabab for takeout lunch. Walk in, the restaurant is on the left in the plaza. I ordered the Chicken Kebab and a Snapple drink. Came to $14. You get a mini salad with the dish which is nice. The dish itself was really great. The chicken was very flavorful had a nice spice to it but not overpowering. The green sauce is amazing. Dunking the chicken in it made it so much better. The Pita bread was ok nothing special same as the salad. The rice was also nothing special, cooked well. But the chicken with the sauce, awesome. Highly recommend getting food here.“
“Delicious: ) ordered a pineapple smoothie that tasted so refreshing & at peak ripeness. Happy sipping this while I chatted with owner and my chicken kebab was prepared. Kind man with a lovely attitude on life. Salad veggies were crisp & fresh. Cilantro vinaigrette is fantastic. Aromatic green w a serious kick! My lips were on ? & i loved it. Chkn was seasoned nicely . very tender & juicy. (Halal meat just tastes better)over a generous pile of rice. Enough for lunch tastes even better day after. Had to try the homemade melt in your mouth baklava. Wow. I'm happy & I can't wait to go back for more: )Vegetarian options: Falafel is always yummyParking: Tucked in a "strip mall" of sorts on Wolf rd. Found parking easily on a StPatrick's day busy Sunday afternoon“
“Get the Kibbeh. I tried it for the first time here and I almost cried because it was so good, not lying, I am actually legitimately sad that I hadn't come here sooner. Not only is the food excellent but the staff is very kind and understanding when it comes to the dietary needs of their guests. I needed to know if there was onions in something (I have an allergy) and they went all the way up the chain to ask on my behalf in order to ensure my safety, it was very sweet and as an added bonus I was able to eat the amazing food, which I'll talk about now!My friend had the chicken kofta rice plate but I had a lamb and beef kofta naan wrap, kibbeh and a tea. The naan was soft and fresh, kept its strength and held what was an incredibly juicy filling very effectively. Since I cannot digest vegetables, I only had meat in my wrap and so the flavor of the meat becomes very important; Zaitoon Kitchen has FANTASTIC lamb & beef kofta. Absolutely out of this world amazing. Juicy, tender, flavorful with all the right kinds of spices you would expect in Mediterranean kofta but different (pleasantly so) from other places I've had kofta at. I'm not sure if it's how they grill it or if it's something they do in prep but I really enjoyed the depth of flavor in this meat. The spices layer throughout it so the bites in the middle of the wrap are consistent but still just as exciting as the first biteーI was sad when it was finished and were I a weaker person I'd have ordered another. For dessert I tried a chocolate baklava, something I have never had before and was very happy to have tried. The Shuabi with Cream was also an incredible new treat that I have no regrets about. There was more I wanted to try but I ran out of room in my stomachーnot cash though, the prices here are great for the area! This place rocks and I will be back! Thank you for a great meal and another positive experience trying new food from cultures outside of my own (˶' ᵕ ' )Dietary restrictions: Onion allergy, no vegetables“
