We love it here!! The atmosphere is upbeat, but not noisy. The service is wonderful and the extras are appreciated. They always share a smile and the menu is innovative and changes periodically. This area NEEDS good restaurants that don't serve pizza!!! This is good one. And the bar is wonderful.

Tonight was our first night at Innovo and it was fantastic! Upon the walking in were kindly greeted by the host, who brought us to our table. The table was a comfortable high-top for two, in a quiet and well lit area. Our server, Deborah, came right over and warmly introduced herself. We explained we had never been to Innovo before, and asked her for recommendations. By memory, she walked us through her favorite dishes from each section the menu was split into. She did a great job explaining why she liked each item, and detailed the way some of the flavor combinations worked together. We asked her many questions and she answered them all, and allowed me, a picky eater, to substitute and remove specific items from my 50/50 burger, which was delicious. My SO had the cold fried chicken sandwich, and raved about it. It was one of Deborah's first recommendations and he could not resist. The food and drinks were great, but the most enjoyable part of the evening was certainly talking to Deborah. She was kind, charismatic, and a great server. She was not at all overbearing and certainly knew the menu. Deborah, I hope you are reading this, and next time we come back we are requesting you! Also, this restaurant gives out homemade dark chocolate at the end of the meal, so you can't go wrong with Innovo!

Outstanding food and atmosphere. Very generous portions and lots of choices. My first time. Will definitely be back. The Greens and Beans were the best. Reminded me of a dish my Italian grandmother used to make. I also had the Sweet potato salad with shrimp which was so delicious. I would have liked to try dessert but I was so full. I can't wait to return. Next time I will save room for dessert. The chocolate at the end was a nice touch. The flatbreads and spread at the beginning of the meal was also excellent. Superb experience in every way. Special thanks to the welcoming and attentive staff. Service was superior as well.

The food was delicious, Lamb burger and crab cakes entrees. The Caesar salad, WITH anchovies was perfectly dressed. And surprisingly, the high top tables in the back were not noisy, you could have a conversation without yelling.
Great restaurant with modern comfort food as well as more elaborate dishes. Great bar and ambiance. We love it here.

One of the best restaurants in the Capital Region, hands down. The Doritos tater tots have been getting me through the door for years now, and the 50/50 burger, don’t get me started. Half beef, half bacon! Absolutely phenomenal every time.Dietary restrictions: As a type 1 diabetic, I was pleasantly surprised when our waitress noticed that I had a glucose monitor and pump, and informed me that they can customize my meal to be less carb/sugar-intensive. I don’t use artificial sweeteners, but instead of slathering on sugary sauces and having a large roll, they gave me less and substitutions that wouldn’t spike my sugars.
Beef short ribs were AMAZING... the first time I got them, second time wasn't the same quality. Wings undercooked.

Nice restaurant. Interesting menu that covers most bases. Ambiance is a bit noisy but not too much so. Our server, Erin, was excellent and very accommodating. We had the Pork Shank stew and a beef tenderloin special for our main entrees. Nicely done. Good serving size but must important, very tasty. The pork bun appetizer was not their best effort. The bun was dry pancake -like. Definitely not the steamed bun as described. Overall, a very nice evening with good food and well-made cocktails. Thanks!
