I ordered over $80 worth of food and it was pure garbage! Chik'n over fried with nothing but dry husks, no mushrooms inside. Mac and cheese no salt or CHEESE flavor, vegan ox tails was just a bowl of grease, overly salted mushrooms with unidentifiable veggies, lentil patties was mostly empty. Quinoa was not completely cooked which was unseasoned sand. 1st and LAST TIME. WISH I CAN GIVE NEGATIVE STARS BECAUSE I WOULD!

Randomly googled vegan restaurants near me and this one popped up with high ratings. The food was sooooooo delicious and portions are quite sufficient - I ordered the ital stew with quinoa and it easily has about 3 servings. It was tasty and seasoned to perfection. Customer service was warm and pleasant and the store was welcoming with a small seating area. Highly recommend!

Tell me if this is worth $8.71. I blame myself I said I wasn't coming back here3 years ago I left a one star review and I went back today because this was the only place selling my type of food that I was nearby. Only two people working but things seemed efficient and the cashier was nice and obviously hardworking. The price for the cauliflower was a little higher but we all know why. Looks great, tastes great, and I think it's only fair that I update my review. I came back because Vegan Chef Ash works with them and I love her cooking so I thought they deserved another chance. I'm not disappointed.

Ok, so I am not one to give bad ratings but I've had better. As a person who isn't vegan but cook my own vegan foods and been to vegan restaurants this wasn't the best! The cauliflower bites with fried rice was EXTREMELY bland, it was drizzled in the General Tso's sauce but it didnt make up for just how BLAND everything was. The cauliflower could've been pan seared first then deep fried but to just put some bland cauliflower into a batter and then drizzle some sauce yeahhh no, and the rice was like was grainy and large chunks of carrots (taste like a frozen bag of rice peas and carrots). The empanadas were only good with dipping sauce because this place lacks SEASONING. The only upside was the young girl at the front she was professional and prompt and had a very sweet attitude. Besides that I can't say I would be returning especially considering how expensive it is ?.

any time i order vegan food my first choice is always a fried "chicken" sandwich. out of all the ones i've sampled this was BY FAR the best one i've had. great seasoning, incredible texture and paired with a great sauce!! SO
The past couple of times that I have ordered from this restaurant the food has not been as good as it used to be . Today I ordered Kentucky Fried Cauliflower Bites , a small ranch dressing , and a small soup of the day. The Cauliflower Bites which were so flavorful and delicious before were tasteless. The soup of the Day which used to be so filling and delicious instead has an over abundance of pepper in it instead of good taste. It seems as if they have lost their original cooks because everything I've ordered this year is tasteless or full of pepper. I will not be ordering from this restaurant anymore.

I can't say enough about this wonderful healthy haven in the community ! I absolutely love their food. My favorite is probably the cauliflower wings... so-so-so super tasty. I miss the old set up with comfy booths and tables and the juice bar in the back, but I understand that some things changed after the pandemic. Fortunately, the quality and taste of the food has not changed ! Thank you again A Live Kitchen for providing organic, plant-based meals for our neighborhood, something we value, deserve and sincerely appreciate.
