The Douglaston Deli has fantastic potato salad, tuna salad, cole slaw, egg salad, sandwiches, and the best rice pudding anywhere. It’s been around for over 50 years and it’s one of those places that makes your soul feel good because it keeps existing and making delicious food that tastes like it oughta. Seriously a decent deli! Awesome prices and such kind people. I've been here a few times in the past and never had a problem. Their sandwiches are good. Their bacon egg and cheese is bomb. They make the cheesy eggs perfect. They have hot and iced coffee. Many different choices of drinks and snacks. Great place to stop before or after coming off the LIRR. They have decent parking. It is a great secret of Douglaston. But it is totally affordable and worth a try.

Charlie is the man! Such a great guy. This is a nice little spot, and very convenient. Prices are great, and the food is always tasty. Probably the best egg sandwiches in the neighborhood. This is the best deli ever. You will never get better service or better consistency food anywhere else. Be sure to try a breakfast sandwich which is made fresh while you wait and extremely quick. The coffee is also excellent and there is always a fresh pot no matter what time you visit. On top of it all Charlie and Jean are the friendliest people you will ever meet.
