Best Sandwich/Sub shop in CNY. Locally owned, huge Sandwiches/Subs!! Great selection, but the Brooklyn Pickle Sandwich/Sub is the best. Daily Soups, hot meals are phenomenal too. And the cookies/brownies... omg, delicious!! Always great service and atmosphere.Vegetarian options: Veggie Sub, etc.
There's not much I don't love about Brooklyn Pickle especially since I've been going there for years at both W. Genesee St and Burnet Ave. I happened to be out to Cicero one day recently so thought I'd stop by the North eatery. The shop is both spacious inside as well as the parking area. Seating also seemed plentiful. The line of people moved as well here as the other locations and my only complaint on this day was with the young lady who made my sandwich. When I walked to the counter I asked her if they had horseradish mayo and that question seemed to set her off. After that, she acted like I asked her to actually go herd the cow and butcher it in order to make my roast beef sandwich. She never cracked a smile and honestly treated me as if I was bothering her. I've never experienced this in all the years I've been getting my sandwiches here. Even so, the food was good as always but someone should spot check the people behind the counter every so often for the attitudes at this North location.

Super good sandwich shop. Many choices of what to order, and each sandwich/salad or whatever is made to your specification. Get a 1/2 sandwich, it's still BIG. Service is very good, food quality is outstanding. Recommended.

I visited the Buckley Road location recently and was turned off by a tall black female sandwich maker wiping her runny nose on her sleeve. Gross! I waited for a different sandwich maker. I got a whole corned beef on dark rye with lettuce, tomato and provolone cheese. I was getting it to go so requested Russian dressing on the side. Not too complicated! When I got home, no dressing and no pickles! Very disappointed! They need to pay attention to details instead of yapping amongst themselves!! For the price I paid, it sucked!
