It is a great place with a long history. The food is always good, and the service is top-notch. A long time Liverpool tradition that we always try to catch when we come back to visit family.

Long lines. Very long line. Hot dogs have changed. Different taste. The bun was stale. Not the Heid's from years ago.

I give it 1 star shy of 5 due to the price. 5 cents shy of $5. for a hotdog! ??‍♂️ That's crazy. But they are good. I'm a truck driver out of Virginia, and I first tried this place back in July of last year (2023) after some random people I was talking to at a local diner recommended trying this place. I think I was told this was the oldest eatery in town or something like that. So this is my 2nd time eating here. I got the Snappy dog and Frank dog. The snappy has a slightly distinct taste compared to the traditional frank dog. Both dogs (w/ chili & onion) are pretty good. I just think they're overpriced compared to what I'm used to back home. Not a fan of the fries, but I do like the baked beans. I'll try the onion rings next time I'm passing thru.Sadly, they don't have 18-wheeler parking, but if you're bobtail, they can accommodate.

Not much to say other than Heid's is a staple for Liverpool, it's been here longer than I've been alive.Parking: There is parking on-site, as well as on the village streets, and a 30 second walk from Onondaga Lake Park makes parking there a viable option.

Pricey but good. It’s been here a long time and the line is always long. Nice outdoor seating area. Texas hot style dog is great. Just wish they didn’t charge for sauerkraut!

Just stopped in for a little lunch. Fries are good and crispy not rock hard..dogs are a little small.... probably normal size for most people.

Always jam-packed but always worth it. I made the mistake of bringing my two young children, at their request, for lunch recently. In all of the hustle and bustle, I managed to forget their favorite winter hats after we ate. I reached out the next day, and though they had a line winding outside the door, the staff managed to make time for me to track down these hats and save the day for my kids.

It's not the same anymore not worth the money the hot dogs are much smaller and the buns are even smaller to make it appear that the hotdogs are bigger like they use to be your better off cooking your own!

I love Heid's, always have!! Great food, great atmosphere, the staff is great, courteous... and they offer a generous military discount!!My only gripe , the prices have gotten absolutely ? ridiculous (even with the discount applied)!I ordered 2 bogo dogs, a sausage/onion/pepper, a sea dog, a small chili, small mac's cheese, and a small baked bean & a birch beer. Was over $50, and that's with 2 free dogs!!Because of the BOGO on the dogs, they couldn't apply the military.Honestly, if the prices were even close to being more reasonable, I'd probably eat there 3 or 4 times a week, I really love their food that much!!
