This is a really nice hibachi restaurant. Keep in mind that it is under new management as i see some of the negative reviews on here are quite old. The first thing I noticed was a clean, well kept parking lot. Then when i got inside, I was super impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and the nice decor. I got the chicken and shrimp. The hibachi was delicious and cooked perfectly. The soup and salad were also very good. I especially liked how the wait staff checked on us not only pre-meal, during the hibachi cooking process, but after the cooking was over as well. I was on business travel and wanted to stay near the airport for an early flight the next day. I will be doing this every time I take this trip and stopping back for more great food in the future.

The waitress was very perceptive, I have a food allergy and they cooked my food in a different area and I still got to enjoy watching the other food being cooked for our party without feeling left out ,it was delicious and I had enough for lunch the following

Such a great experience with the kids ,so much fun and the food was great.Dietary restrictions: My daughter is allergic to shell fish they prepared her food in a kitchen with no fish!Kid-friendliness: They are so interactive with the kids making them feel as special as they are.

We hadn't been in years.... and being under "new ownership- management" we were a bit concerned that it would not measure up to the "Ogatta Original." It was 3 of us, for hibachi, for a birthday, seated with 2 other families. We were all seated on time according to the reservation. Serving attendants were professional, flexible, efficient, friendly. Prices were always "a bit extravagant" but nothing to complain about, as the freshness, flavor, preparation, were as wonderful as they always had been. Portions were still lovely and filling. The "only thing" I missed was that the soup w/ the hibachi dinner "used to be" much more "classic" which had been miso with small bits of soft tofu and seaweed, but todays' was a bit more americanized of yummy salty chicken broth (fat free, no old or fat), and noodles and a few thinly sliced green onions. (Would have preferred the miso tofu, for me, but maybe it's not a Treat for ppl anymore.). Also it was a nice option to have fried noodles rather than fried rice. I noticed that at our table there were some folks with dietary/alergy needs, and the staff and the kitchen accommodated proactively. The tenderloin perfection, scallops perfection, shrimp perfection, teriyaki chicken perfection. Thrilled that the classic ginger salad dressing was still the primary election for the crisp cold salad. Everything was clean and operational. No glitches whatsoever. And the chef, was amazing. It was a great experience. We thoroughly enjoyed and wish the new ownership and team amazing success! Thank you!

The food was great and the service was awesome. We love their hibachi food and the fire show in particular. It's my birthday, and I was surprised by the unexpected celebration along with other customers celebrating their (wedding) anniversary with the same duration of year as my age. What a coincidence! I'll never forget this day.

Being honest..not a fan of this type of food..was a family thing...the food was good..however...the chef...Joseph was awesome!!! He was cracra outgoing...cooked the food to our liking and he made the experience well worth the trip!!

I love coming here it's always a good experience. I had a birthday dinner, which unfortunately was the same weekend as SU parents weekend so it was very packed and busy, but the food definitely made up for the wait. Also, out Hibachi chef was very entertaining loved every second.

Absolutely horrible service. If i could give 0 stars I would. My friend booked a table for 12 a week BEFORE the date for 6. It is now 7PM and we just got seated. i don't understand why they wouldn't block out the time for a party that makes a reservation. We went up to them asking about our table and was told it was being cleaned for the past 30 minutes(obvious BS). What is the point of a reservation if we won't be seated on time? It seemed like they would prefer us to leave before trying to block time out for reservations. For hibachi, you are gonna get the same food everywhere so better off going somewhere with better service and staff. Wont be returning.

WORST WAIT EVER. Hey Ichiban, why did I make a reservation if I was going to wait an hour?? I'm a considerate person who understand that you cannot walk into a restaurant with 12 people and expect to be seated immediately, which is why I made a reservation a WEEK in advance... what was the point??? Woman at the front desk was so rude too and told me it was not her job to delegate between the busy boys and the customers in the front. BOO HOO. Over an hour wait and still nothing... be better. I wish yelp had a zero star option!!
