The old owners food and service was great. The new owners sadly are the exact opposite. Service is really poor. Wait times 30-45 mins. They also forgot to give us our dessert and charged us for it. This used to be one of our fave restaurants. I don’t think I’m going to eat here again.

My fiance and I went on New Years day for a phenomenal dinner, we both ordered the India House Non Vegan dinners and oh my goodness the flavors of everything was out of this world. Our waiter was super friendly and helpful with questions we had since it was our first time there. We will definitely be coming back

Entering the restaurant it was obvious that a party had put the main dining area out of service. Every table was littered with dirty dishes and confetti was strewn about, even though the parking lot was nearly empty. A trio of young men gathered around the cash register engaged in a lively, and very loud conversation. We were seated at a small table within earshot of the conversation. A portable heater was pushed out of the way to make room for us. The room was cold. We wore our coats during the meal and pulled the heater closer. We struggled to have a conversation over the trio's conversation. The place is under new management and doesn't have a liquor permit. No beer nor wine is available. Our server cheerfully told us they had made an application for the permit but were denied. The server didn't take our order correctly, writing down the wrong item. When we complained that the wrong food was delivered the server got his note pad to show us what he had written down, as if that explained it all. He didn't write down what we ordered. No offer was made to make it right. The food itself was not good. Greasy, bland, and a terrible presentation.India House was once a dependable go-to for decent Indian food. This new version bears no resemblance to the old.Dirty, cold place, bad service, disgusting food. Not recommended at all.

Worst bhel puri. Only onions. Paneer Masala gravy was tasteless and paneer tasted like cardboard. Garlic Naan was soggy. You guys should be ashamed of yourself. Is this how you represent Indian food. Disgusting. Never coming back again. I wish I had some way to shut you down.

Bad food quality. We ordered paneer makhani and naan and biryani. They didn’t have momo, chow mein and dal. Poor service and Owner was very rude when we complained about the food quality, also misbehaved with us.

Ordered two garlic naan and two lamb tikka masala (that obviously comes with rice but we did check and ask the person on the phone just to make sure) and we ordered an extra order of rice as we have never been here before and didn’t know the rice to top ratio. Wait time was not bad at all. But I should have checked my bag upon arrival because they didn’t give us the extra order of rice. I read the reviews on the way home as my bf who ordered did not beforehand. Saw the review about the tikka masala being bland soup and was reallly hoping they were just unlucky that day. Unfortunately they were right. We usually go to dosa grill but we moved recently and this place is closer so we decided to give it a shot. Will make the extra 15 min drive next time

Sadly our favorite restaurant is under new ownership. The tika masala was flavorless soup and I'm completely deviated. Normally we are fighting for the last bite and tonight we had leftovers. Please revisit your recipes

I ordered the palak paneer and shahi paneer. The paneer was surprisingly very dense; good, but like the texture of an eraser. The gravies did not have a spicy kick, and weren't very complex. The palak paneer was very bitter, much more so than any other palak paneer I've ever ordered. And the shahi paneer was sweet, kind of like a sweet marinara sauce. Salt improved the flavor of both gravies. Ghee and more spices would too. Overall I was disappointed. 2 stars because I wouldn't give this restaurant another try. I would try other Indian restaurants in Syracuse.

I had this on a road trip and I couldn’t even get halfway through my dish before I chucked it and went for my soggy leftover Chipotle burrito instead. The lamb was gamey, the naan was mostly burnt and soggy, and overall the food was just bland. And as someone who eats a lot of lamb the taste of theirs was extremely off-putting to me for some reason. I’ve had dozens and dozens of Indian places across the US and this place is unfortunately pretty bad compared to most.My girlfriend was even less generous with her feedback. She said “it was the worst Indian food I’ve ever had”. She ate even less of hers than I did.Overall pretty bad. Avoid this place.

First of all the restaurant’s closing time is 9:30 PM unlike what google shows. After a long drive to Syracuse, we reached there moments before their closing time. But the restaurant manager allowed us to dine-in. We were lucky to get the soulful food after the long drive. Ordered Punjabi daal (got rice along with it). Food was good ?. Liked the smile of the lady who was at the counter.Kid-friendliness: They had bar stools for babies and small kids.

You need to try their chicken Momos (Nepali Dumplings). It is delicious. I can’t wait to go back for it. The staffs are friendly.

Restaurant has torn Indian flag at front door. Kindly respect the flag and remove it.Visited this place for lunch around 1pm. The restaurant was empty. Waited for 5 min no one came out to attend. Someone from kitchen saw me leaving but still ignored.

We got the buffet. Food was pretty good except the rice pudding had a soapy taste. Reasonable prices. They have placemats under the glass on the table listing 4 different flavors of lassi. I asked for the rose flavored one. I was told they only make mango flavored lassi. At the end of our meal, I asked for masala chai ( which was also listed on the placemat) and was told "You can't have it. The kitchen is too busy".
