“We are San Diego natives dropping off our son at Syracuse for the school year. He said he found his new taco spot. The staff was so excited and happy to see us enjoy the food. The place has enough space to be a great hangout. Still new but everyone should spread the word!“
“When we arrived this evening the owner told us they had been very busy earlier today and he had let his wait staff go home but because we had made a reservation he was keeping the restaurant open just for us. The food was excellent, he advised me on what to order based upon my food allergies, and was incredibly charming and accommodating. The prices are higher than some other middle eastern restaurants in town, but the portions are enormous, and the gift of rings at the end of the meal was a delightful surprise.“
“Small family owned business you'd miss if you blink. Counter Girl and Owner were very friendly and went made all our food fresh. They even gave me a free water bottle. Food was flavorful, in huge portions, and left us contemplating our next visit. We did have a coupon which they happily took but the prices seemed reasonable either way. Definetly some of the best Mediterranean food in Syracuse.“
“At Baghdad Restaurant in Syracuse, my family and I experienced a wonderful culinary journey through Iraqi and Arabic cuisine. The food was not only tasty and delicious but also authentically prepared, offering a true taste of the region. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional service we received throughout our meal. From the warm welcome to the attentive staff, every moment was memorable. A perfect choice for families seeking both delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere.“
“I love the Westcott Grocery! I probably stop through here a few times a week for little treats and drinks, but my favorite things are all the South Asian/Desi snacks and spices they have! The people who work here are very friendly and it really just feels like a nice neighborhood store.“
“Best Halal in the area. I’ve tried other spots, yet this is the most consistent and open lateVegetarian options: Few options but they can work with you if you call, so it opens up the menu for vegetariansParking: Plenty of room for the famKid-friendliness: Family friendly environmentWheelchair accessibility: Ramp options for those in wheel chairs“
“I love the loaded fries from here, but I just got a take out order. I asked for no onions, I hate onions and having to pick them out of my food. The dish was loaded with big chunky pieces of onions and no tomatoes. Just check your orders when you pick up. Otherwise, everything else was great.“
“The best halal food I’ve ever had. I’m from NYC and every time I go to upstate I have to go there. Their food is so clean and delicious. Also the workers are very professional. You guys must try them and see for yourself. Definitely recommend them.“
“Best service I’ve seen in maybe my entire life. The guys working were so nice and able to accommodate my gluten free needs (celiac). They understood cross-contamination and were so understanding and helpful. On top of that, the food was absolutely incredible- even just the rice was so well seasoned I could have happily eaten that alone til I was full. 10/10 absolutely amazingDietary restrictions: Gluten free (understood contamination, celiac safe!)“
