The highlight of my dining experience was undoubtedly the Lamb Korma curry, perfectly paired with aromatic butter garlic Naan. The service and ambiance were commendable, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere. However, I found the kebabs to be disappointingly dry and lacking in flavor, making them a less desirable choice. Similarly, the tandoori, despite its vibrant red appearance, fell short on taste and did not live up to expectations. For those considering a visit, I would suggest focusing on the main course offerings. It's worth noting that the Chicken Tikka Masala was a letdown, as it unexpectedly came with vegetables, which seemed out of place for this classic dish. Moreover, there was a mix-up with our order, and we received Chicken Kadai instead of the Chicken Tikka Masala gravy, which was not what we anticipated. In light of these experiences, I would recommend steering clear of the starters and instead indulging in the delightful Lamb Korma, the flavorful garlic Naan, and the refreshing Mango Lassi, these dishes are sure to satisfy your palate.

I am an Indian. And this food is complete trash. I ordered Chicken and goat biryani. The rice smells like trash. Super awful and my friend almost puked after the first bite. It stinked a lot. Don't try.

Hands down the best tikka masala around. The aloo palathra is amazing. Love this restaurant!(Edit) The buffet is back. Please do yourself a favor and come to sample all of the delicious items they have available. I do recommend that you come when you have nothing else to do after, as you will be hard pressed not to eat yourself into a food coma.Syracuse has some great spots, but Sahota Palace is a hidden gem.

My wife and I came to Sahota Palace for lunch on a Thursday. I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, medium spicy, a veggie samosa, and side of naan. Portions were good, not overly generous, flavors were perfect and the highlight for me was the freshly-grilled naan bread.

Love this place. There’s not much atmosphere but the food is incredible. I was stationed in New Delhi and I got a particular taste for Indian street food while I was there. Sahota Palace is amazing and the red Dahl is almost exactly the same taste I’m used to. Check this place out. I’ve ordered off the menu and had lunch from the buffet and you get incredible food either way.

Favorite Indian food in the Syracuse area! We order chicken tikka masala, veggie or lamb korma and samosas regularly, super consistent delicious food. I appreciate the creaminess of their sauce and that it's not like tomato sauce like some Indian places I've tried in the area. I also feel like they don't 'americanize' their food as much as other places in the Syracuse area. Definitely worth a try!

This is one of the worst restaurants in Syracuse. I’ve ordered food from this restaurant a few times and every time I’m disappointed. If you don’t know how to cook, please hire a professional chef or sell the restaurant to someone who knows how to make tasty food!!! Please don’t go or order anything from this restaurant.

We were enthusiastic fans of India House and it's downtown predecessor, A Taste of India. Unfortunately, India House has closed its doors and we are currently looking for a replacement. We decided to try this restaurant and found that although nothing we ate was quite as good as that previously served at India House, it was nevertheless a very enjoyable meal. One criticism I would offer is that the sauces were a bit bland for my taste. I am not referring to the level of heat, but rather the complexity and intensity of the flavors in the masala sauce and the rogan josh sauce. I was happy to find that the lamb masala contained bite-sized pieces of onion and strips of green bell pepper. Novel in my experience, but very enjoyable. Also the lamb was tender and generous, and the poori bread and side salad were excellent.

Really enjoyed this place. We made a few mistakes as a table such as making about 8-10 different bread orders as well as some folks at my table ordering a meal similar to the appetizer we got so they got way too much of the same food, but overall everything was delicious. If I lived closer I would definitely want to have Sahota Palace in my rotation of Indian restaurants.

We ordered take out for our company for 11 people and someone had to go without food because Sahota palace messed up our order and refused to take responsibility for their mistake saying they definitely didn’t make a mistake.Absolutely unreal. Will not be recommending this place again.

The food was excellent. We all loved the garlic Naan. There were 7 of us and each got something different. They all were served piping hot and all were delicious.

A good Indian take out, decent price, good portion sizes and good flavors, not too greasy (which can often be a problem if this cuisine isn't cooked well). We ordered Lamb Byriani, Bhindi Masala, Malai Kofta and Peshwari Naan Considering that Liverpool & Syracuse is not blessed with many Indian food places, this is definitely one of the best options. We'll be back.
