“Unbelievably good. Quite possibly the best steak I've ever had. I had the 16oz boneless steak au poivire and it was so tender and and full.of flavor. Nearly melted in my mouth. For my appetizer I had the poutine. The serving was generous and the fries were crisp not soggy underneath the gravy. And the service... The bartender Jeff provided some of the best service I've ever had. Without a doubt one of the top places in Syracuse and I highly recommend a visit when you are in the area.Parking: Located at Best Western hotel.“
“Went for an early dinner with my friends after the Home & Garden show today at the Exposition Center. It was dark in the dining area but our eyes became adjusted. We were waited on promptly and ordered some glasses of red wine. I love NY strip steak so I had to go with that. I chose a baked potato and mixed vegetables. It was cooked perfectly at medium rare and the potato was cooked perfectly with butter and sour cream on the side. The vegetables were mixed and tasty (not mushy which I appreciated). I could only eat half my meal because I saved room for desert. I had the cream brûlée which was creamy with the topping perfectly torched. The waitress was amazing and made us feel relaxed and took care of us. A very pleasant experience and I will be back when I want an amazing steak.“
“This is now under new management and is called Fireside by the River and we have eaten here now a few times in the last month. The food was absolutely amazing. The prime rib was cooked to perfection and the flavor was out of this world. The French Onion soup, scallops, crab cakes and shrimp and grits were all out of this world. Great selection of cocktails and the service was top notch.This is a must try if you have not yet! Highly recommend!“
“Hadn't eaten at this restaurant for several years, but glad I stopped today for lunch as I had a great meal. I ordered the Chop Steak with a side of french fries. First to arrive was my drink with complimentary bread. The bread had a delicious yeasty honey-bran flavor which I enjoyed with some butter while waiting for my entree. The meat in the large burger patty was lightly packed, juicy, and cooked perfectly to order. The bordelaise sauce with mushrooms (I asked that the caramelized onions be omitted) was delicious and the fries were hot and crispy. Overall, a very enjoyable lunch at a very reasonable price. The interior of the restaurant is well appointed, and the service was outstanding. I will be back soon to try other items on their menu.“
“The food was good, and the people there were so sweet.However, our food was over twenty minutes later than it was supposed to be for pickup.When we asked what was taking so long, it was because they had accidentally dropped our appetizers and had to remake them.They were gracious and owned up to their small mistake, giving us a free appetizer for our next visit.Overall, it was a great service.“
“Prume Steak House has been our must go to from the first year we were at the NYS Fire Chiefs Convention in Syracuse and we met with and chatted with Danny at the picnic table. When he asked us to wait and went in and got a table in a sold out venue, Danny made friends with the three of us for life.“

“My sister and I went to Texas de Brazil today 7/15 at 1:00 for lunch. Our experience was amazing. Previously we were very disappointed and hoped this time would be better. We had Judy and Cya as our hosts/waitresses, we can’t say enough about the excellent service they provided. The food was perfectly cooked, the choices on the salad bar were wonderful. We can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our lunch and how Judy and Cya made our experience so enjoyable. (Liverpool/Clay)Upon arriving, we were greeted with the most welcoming hello, very friendly demeanor, and kind smile.I watched as she politely and graciously assisted a bus group of elders who had stopped in to celebrate a birthday.Not only did she flawlessly greet and seat everyone with a smile, but she was also training a new employee and assisting with serving tables.
