Hilltop catered our daughter's wedding this past weekend, and they were spectacular! From cocktail hour with a stunning charcuterie display, the bar service/staff, to the dinner hour and followed by a dessert table that left our guests and us extremely pleased with our choices, AMAZING. Every bite of food was delicious, flavorful, fresh and prepared with care.Working with Crystal throughout the planning and even in following up was such a pleasure. She is friendly, organized, and so very helpful with suggestions, support and encouragement!!We are still hearing from our guests how awesome the food was, and we absolutely agree. Just a wonderful, delicious experience!!

Delicious. Had the salmon, which was cooked to perfection with a glaze that made it taste just slightly sweet. Divine. The asparagus was grilled and tasted like a summer day. Demetrius, our server, was the exact right amount of friendly and attentive. Food came out quick. French onion soup in a crock was also perfect. The bathroom was very clean. All around excellent experience. Will be back!

BEST STEAK PIE/GUINNESS PIE IN MY 15 years in AmericaI’ve driven past this restaurant everyday for 15 years and, much to my shame, I had never tried it. Tonight I took the wife.I’ll save all the fluff for others, the food was excellent the scotch “dragon” eggs were great served with a buffalo dragon sauce and Cajun ranch and micro greens.Followed by standard salad with a delicious (I presume home made) Italian dressing and fresh baked bread and what looked like home made butter. For entrees My wife had the maple soy glazed salmon served with Asian pickled cukes and peppers over yellow rice.I had the Guinness pie, without doubt the best steak pie/Guinness pie I’ve had in my 15 years living in the states. An actual steak pie with HUGE chunks of steak rather than inferior versions I’ve had which were more potato with a few small bits of steak piesService was fast, friendly and I wish I’d gotten my servers name but it was rather raucous in the dining area (which is always great to see in a local business, (busy on a Thursday evening)We’ll definitely be going back and will recommend to everyone we knowThank you for a great meal

Very good food and excellent service. Food came fast and drinks were served quickly. They have a nice layout for anyone in a wheelchair. We enjoyed their special meal offerings and even dessert. Not a bad price for food and drinks. Really nice place on the hill.

Visiting Olcott in the offseason, we looked in the greater area for a nice place to have dinner and Hilltop seemed to be our best option. When we arrived, we knew instantly that they were busy. We didn’t have reservations (there didn’t seem to be an easy way to make them beyond simply calling and hoping to get someone), but they were able to seat us quickly at a high top at the bar.The food was mostly fantastic in taste. We ordered an appetizer, two soups and two entrees. The appetizer took a while to come out but that was expected as they were busy, but the two entrees came out 2-3 minutes after the appetizer while the two soups were 10-15 minutes after the entrees. Despite this, the service was helpful, friendly and attentive.

Great restaurant, menu has things on it that are original and different, worth the price but not cheap eats lolKid-friendliness: Slightly upscale for the kids but they made everyone feel welcome, the kids want to go back there.

Hilltop catering helped us celebrate 75 years for the Shelby Volunteer Fire Co. in January. The entire process was smooth. Crystal and her staff made the experience not only extremely tasty but so enjoyable. We loved the experience so much we already booked them for our annual event next year❤️

A last minute decision to take a drive and stop to dine. Drove by and turned around to return to the Hilltop. We are so very happy we did. A great house looking restaurant literally on top of the hill as it's named. Entry through a castle style door . . wish we could knock and have someone open the trap to say, "who goes there?" The Hostess sat us immediately in a lovely dining room with shades of gray, white, and faux fireplace. Our server brought drinks right away and she was very pleasant. We chose the Short Rib Stroganoff with pot roast tender short ribs, topped by portobello mushroom gravy, warm bacon vinaigrette, and delicious creamy parmesan mashed potatoes, exchanging spinach for green beans. We also chose the Salt and Chili Chicken with panko crust, served over fresh ramen, sauteed onions, peppers, and mushrooms with a sesame chili glaze that gave a heat with a little bite but not a painful amount of heat, with a hint of teriyaki sweetness. The price was very reasonable for the chef quality meal and presentation. The server was there just enough, not overbearing. We will return again. Thanks for the great experience!Parking: Ample parking once you get up the paved hill, wheelchair accessible entry to the restaurant.

We ordered catering from Hilltop. The food was outstanding! The owner, Crystal, was great to work with. She guided me as to the best options for a family gathering. The food was hot and ready to serve when we picked it up, and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend Hilltop for your catering needs!
