I've came to blacksmiths many times for coffee and bakery items, but today was my first time having an actual breakfast. The breakfast quesadilla was pretty good and a big portion size in my opinion. I always love getting the maple brown sugar latte! Overall blacksmiths is delicious with friendly staff, but a little pricey in my opinion - which is why I only come here once in a while. Would recommend!

Am I the only one that thinks they need a second register ? It shouldn’t take 25 mins to get bread and coffee. Literally 25 mins wait while I witnessed people behind me leaving. A message to the owner. You’re losing money. I counted 21 customers waiting on a Saturday morning. Tight squeeze. lol. Not enough staff at all. One cashier. One making drinks and three back of the house. You need more help.

Breakfast or a light brunch is always a delight here. The coffee never wavers from being unique and strong. It is not Dunkin fast but the service is always kind and of the highest quality. A quaint shop that holds on to some favorites but is always trying out new things. A weekend staple for me.

This place is perfect in every way. Service is super friendly, coffee is fantastic, food is also fantastic, and it feels so cozy inside. It is my sanctuary when I'm visiting my mom in the cold winter months in Long Beach. I am an espresso lover and I've tried every coffee place that has decent reviews almost everywhere I go. This place is unreal. Always great coffee every time. Their bowls are super healthy and delicious as well or go for the breakfast burrito if you need a hangover cure. Not a ton of seating but I usually take everything to go so it's not a problem for me. If you go on the weekends it gets very busy so I'd recommend going early (or not getting food bc that can take a bit long if it's crowded). I usually will get a cortado but I always describe how much milk I want bc sometimes it is too much. They are always so incredibly sweet in there though and are happy to fix any drink. Love this place and recommend for any coffee lover!

Chocolate croissant. Sourdough bread. Summertime mint lemonade. Breakfast sandwich. Breakfast burritos. Chocolate & blueberry financiers…. I can go on and on about my favorite things about Blacksmiths. It’s my favorite (no second best) bakery. But what makes it my favorite are the people. They truly care about the ingredients they use and the food they make. Whether it be breads, pastries, breakfast or lunch meals, it’s all made on site and sourced for their customers. And I can’t say enough good things about the people that work there. They’re really salt of the earth people.

We were introduced to Blacksmith's Bread at the Kennedy Plaza Farmers Market. Then again at the Farmers Market in Malverne, LI. Finally Blacksmith's Bread store opened up on Beech Street in the West End of Long Beach. It was a bit hard to find. Parking was impossible and they were out of the bread I wanted. I liked it better when it was at the markets in the summer. I think it is available at the enclosed shop in Malverne where Crossroads Farm was. It's worth a try there. But for me relying on the Long Beach store is too difficult. But the bread is excellent. Good luck getting it. (Photo from store website).Parking: Depending on the season and day of the week, parking can be so-so to impossible.

Came down to Long Beach to visit with a friend - we decided to grab coffee and a breakfast sandwich. Her choice was spot on, so we drove down to Blacksmiths. Small interior with a few tables, however, this place was consistently packed - most with take-away orders. We opted to sit and enjoy the atmosphere as we were on our way down to the boardwalk. My order was an oat cappuccino and a baked egg & cheese breakfast sandwich on a homemade English muffin. Both were delicious - the coffee was awesome... breakfast sandwich was tasty! I'm pretty sure you can't go wrong with homemade carbs of any kind. So, if you find yourself in the neighborhood and are looking for a good coffee, breakfast sandwich or baked goods, stop in! Just note, there will likely be a bit of a wait.

Ray and the team make amazing breads coffee and food. Best breakfast and bakery in Long Beach, a real gem and a pillar of the community! Try the BLT, the egg sandwiches, the specials, all are very good. My entire family has been going to Blacksmith for years and we all agree, best place to go in the West End for breakfast or brunch. Takeout is great too

Food was average. I like the overall selection of drinks/coffee. Unfortunately this place is a bit overpriced and it takes about 15min to get your food while 4 people are staffed in the kitchen. I’d not recommend coming here again.

Blacksmiths is a gem in Long Beach! I’ve tried every loaf and they’re all amazingly good for sandwiches or spreads. Pick up an iced latte or hibiscus teas, they’re so delicious. The kitchen staff is so friendly and make the atmosphere so homey! Would highly suggest this for a breakfast run or lunch.

Fantastic place- honestly the only good breakfast on Long Beach in my opinion. Not surprised a handful of adult babies would attempt to slander this business when it's made uncomfortably obvious the world doesn't revolve around them. They're busy as hell (for good reason!!) but the food is always worth the wait. Keep doin what you're doin!! Real food made with love is hard to come by.

Service was great, and they kindly redid my cappuccino when it was too heavy on the milk... which I appreciated. Even at 11am, there was a line out the door, so the double doors were propped out letting out all the AC out on a hot hot summer day. I wasn't crazy about my special of the day sandwich. The croissant on which it was served was bland and texture felt stale. It was definitely NOT hard from toasting, but probably from the humidity. Honestly I paid $19 for a sandwich that I only hate HALF of and then tossed the rest. Forcing down a dry sandwich isn't worth the calories, especially when it was nowhere on this side of yummy. Seating is tight.

After seeing the owners response I just want to add I don't have a bruised ego and am obviously not lying if you said she told me to put the stroller outside. Being a dad I'm not sure how you would feel if someone asked you to put your stroller outside that very clearly had a infant in it but whatever you think :) it also could've been said a lot nicer than can you leave your stroller outside by your bubbly worker but thank you for your reply!
