The bbq here is so good for not being innthe south. This is one of the best local bbq places on long island. The brisket is so good, so delicious ans the bbq sauce i put on it is fingwr licking good. Make sure to have a save the robots ipa along with it .The staff there were so attentive to our needs and really nice. The manager there is always going around and helping his staff also. Overall great experience !!

Restaurant has 2 signs stating $5 apps for happy hour but refused to honor this because we sat at a table. Nothing on the sign said bar only this is illegal. Food was sub par. Rib tips were over cooked and were not edible.

ZERO STARS! Never in my life have I ever gotten food this disgusting...turned me vegetarian! My chicken was filled with blood, bones were broken and bloody inside and had a horrible smell!! I was pulling giant snake-like tendons out of the ribs making me gag! The cornbread had a disgusting taste and the rest of my party also couldn't eat a bite...everything went in the garbage pail!!! Even the cucumber salad that was a side was flavorless and the tomatoes were so unripe they were white. This food was ordered to go so there was no opportunity to send it back. Waste of so much money and I'm sick to my stomach even thinking about it!

Come here with an appetite and you won't be disappointed. Love the staff and the food. Brisket mac and cheese is unbelievable, and the jumbo wings are surprisingly large for some great bang for your buck.

What happened to Swingbellys... I used to luv this place. The food was barely tolerable.....Pulled Pork was dry and tasteless and You can taste the old oil on the fried foods...Please step up your game.. The wait staff was energetic and attentive....

Waitress was very rude.i believe it's because she had an issue with my wife 25 years ago like in high school. Food was great, just definitelywas high and drunk, which is pathetic. She should be more professional. I'd post her name, but I'm nit a spiteful man, even though she made my family extremely uncomfortable bringing up my wife from high school, even though they're close to 40 years old now. Extremely rude, unpredictable, unpleasant and shouldn't be working around people, especially in the restaurant/bar business. Food and atmosphere was A+ server (TG) ruined the evening.

Came in Sunday for lunch, we ordered the bbq brisket, ribs, and pull pork. All meals were dry, chewy and no taste, it look like the meats leftover from last night.
Swingbelly's is always a win! The crew is awesome. We used them to cater a large event, and they blew it out of the park. Everyone still talks about how great the ribs, pulled chicken, and mac and cheese (to name a few) were. Thanks to Dan and the whole team! If you're in LB, you've got to stop in.

OMG, Ribs are HARD , DRY and tasteless even you smothered the so called different sauces they have all over the meat. The nachos were drenched with liquid watery cheese. Only the few nachos on the side are crispy but the rest are soggy !!!! Service: AWFUL. !!!! The server sucks.it took her 15 mins to respond after begging to bring me the soda. After taking the order, you don't see her again until it was time to pay. We need to ask another worker to tell our server that we were done and ready to pay. We could have walked out without paying bec we waited again several minutes for her to come out and give us the tab. Tip? what tip? Doesn't deserve any! Ambience: of what? The only one good thing was the cold beer. Never again to go there for ribs. It's not worth the expense!

I decided to give Swingbelly's BBQ a 2nd chance. I shouldn't have. Never again! The ribs were dry and tough. I took a few bites and that was it for me. I couldn't eat them. The cornbread tasted funny, the small container of grilled veggies was ok. The mashed potatoes were ok, but cold. Once in a while I go to The Outback and get surf and turf, so for a change, I tried the ribs there and was surprised...they were excellent! The meat fell off the bones. They were not dry and could melt in your mouth. If you want good baby back ribs, go to The Outback or somewhere else like Smokin' Al's. NEVER AGAIN!!!
